- Instead of sheet pan dinners, try a sheet pan breakfast! #sponsored @incredibleegg is a national supporter of American Heart Association’s Healthy for Good initiative.
As seen in many of my breakfast videos, I love using eggs since they’re a versatile, high-quality protein. Despite popular belief, eggs can be absolutely be part of a healthy diet that includes a variety of nutritious foods!
Sweet potato egg hash recipe (this recipe is AHA Heart-Check certified):
- Preheat the oven to 425˚F and place a rimmed baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
Add 1 lb of 1/2-inch diced sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup diced red or yellow onion, 1 diced red bell pepper, 1 diced green bell pepper, 1 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp smoke paprika, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp salt and black pepper to a large bowl and stir to combine.
- Remove baking sheet from the oven and coat with 2 teaspoons oil. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to spread potatoes and vegetables out evenly onto the baking sheet. Bake, stirring occasionally during cooking time, until sweet potatoes are fork-tender, about 18 to 20 minutes.
- Move vegetables away from the sides, toward the center of the baking sheet (to create a mound for adding 4 eggs). Use the back of a spoon to create 4 wells in hash. Crack one egg into each well. Season with salt and pepper. Bake until whites are set and yolk is jammy, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drizzle 1 tbsp red wine vinegar over everything and garnish with 2 tbsp chopped chives just before serving.
Additional notes:
- Be sure to keep potatoes to a ½-inch size so that they cook evenly and quickly.
- Cracking the egg into a bowl first makes it easy to remove any rogue eggshell that may end up in the egg when it’s cracked.
- The USDA recommends cooking eggs until the yolk and whites are firm.

I was feeling so self assured and then you said 7 eggs a week 😅 I have 15 minimum just during the work week
Yes, ma'am. Same here. Healthiest I've ever been in my life at 37. ❤
I’m a dietetics student and I’ve come to learn through numerous studies and biochemistry science, eggs are perfectly fine for you. You can have more than 7 eggs a week lol
American Heart Association is so full of shit. They were the same ones saying don’t eat eggs just a few years ago. Eating eggs everyday ain’t bad
lol me too! At least two a day👍🏻
Yeah I think most people eat two with their breakfast…I don’t everyday but I have probably at least 10 eggs a week. 🤷🏻♀️
When I looked into the research, that seven is just a suggestion. They've done several long-term experiments with even up to 3 eggs per day and their cholesterol didn't go up. So if you're at say 10 or so a week, I wouldn't sweat it either 😅
Yes, don’t the phospholipid also inhibit increase of cholesterol levels?
lmao I have may 1 or two at least every day
It also depends on your genetics. Some people have a tendency to have a higher cholesterol
Eggs are my favorite protein source! Love your effortless approach with cooking.
The fact that eggs being an unhealthy food or too high in cholesterol has been disproven decades ago and people still not knowing this shows how far we need to go to help knowledge progress in what is healthy and balanced food.
Eggs are high in cholesterol. The egg industry is a donor for the American Heart Association. Of course they need to in return promote the very thing that causes heart disease. The health orgs in the US especially are corrupt to the core and are all backed by the food industry.
Right! We grew up thinking 3 /week was the max. But now we know better. Asian diets are some of the healthiest and they have eggs every single day
That's not true. Eggs in moderation are safe for most people, except those who are sensitive to dietary cholesterol and those who have heart disease. In those cases, you should talk with your Dr.
@@falljoshsome people with IBS (Irritate Bowel Syndrome) shouldn't eat eggs either (especially boiled).
Even the AHA (who were super guilty of proliferating this myth) has been trying to correct this misinformation
I usually have 2 eggs for breakfast daily. This sheet pan breakfast idea is genius!!
That’s too many. I used to do that.
That could serve so many people

Love you promoting savoury breakfast. Tried your steamed egg the other morning, new household favourite
I have a minimum of 21 eggs a week - three for breakfast every day. Due to stomach health problems my diet is extremely limited, but I can have eggs!
My doctor would sanction that.
Damn, partnering with the American Heart Association?! That’s incredible, congratulations!! 🎉❤
This looks amazing, unfortunately I don't like eggs :/
@@meganreilly9944You could just make the veggies and pair them with something else
Meat, dairy and egg corporations are some of their biggest donors. Of course they will push these products by paying these influencers. But when you use your brain for 5 seconds, you'll notice the connection between a non profit fighting against heart disease and them being backed by donors who coincidentally sell products causing heart disease. This isn't anything to applaud, it's just someone being a sellout. Think.
@@aloeleaf Tofu for example or beans. Something comparable
@@meganreilly9944I didn’t use to like eggs either but I do eat them in tuna salad. I also have become addicted to this dietitian’s rice paper eggs. ☺️
I love serving my fam eggs for breakfast or brunch, so many nutrients that aren't in as many things plus the protein. And especially with veggies! So easy, tasty, and truly versatile.
I’m sure you’ve heard this plenty, but you truly are helping so many of us with how we eat. Food has become such an art that I love to work with-verses a necessity I need to work around! Thank you genuinely…
I've been learning more about balanced eating and was so sad when I learned about the cholesterol in eggs. I thought I could only have a couple a week, but im so glad to hear it's 7! That's a number I can work with!
Love the sheet pan idea!
I've been prepping veggies and freezing them. As long as I cook them _without thawing_ they cook up like fresh veggies!
Onions
Peppers
Chopped sweet potatoes
Broccoli
Asparagus
Shredded cheddar and mozzarella
Gorgonzola
All of these freeze amazingly well!
I freeze these in recycled glass jars - especially the onions or they will flavor your ice cream!
Love your videos. I have been struggling with a lot of body image issues due to a suspected but undiagnosed ED, along with diagnosed OCD. It’s extra hard figuring out what to eat or even *wanting* to eat, especially because I’m an ultra runner and know I need calories, but also feel self conscious surrounded by so many rail-thin people. My waistline is much bigger than I’d like, and I’ll be honest and say I hate it more often than not. But your videos, while they don’t fix everything, remind me to take joy in eating and to be kinder to myself sometimes. Maybe my waistline isn’t what I want it to be, but I’m not the only one with that situation and it doesn’t mean I don’t need/deserve food.
You're in the right place. Everyone deserves to eat well.
@@sharonoddlyenough Thank you ❤️
Your body is a racecar and that car needs fuel! Hope you get your diagnosis and some quality help for it!
@@aureasmortem Thank you 🩵
One thing that helped me learn to love my body was providing care for someone who had a spinal cord injury and was a quadriplegic, but still had an insatiable desire to live to her most capability. I became profoundly aware of what a gift my body was, and how I was wasting so much of my limited time on this planet stressing over what it wasn't. I hope you find healing and help in your journey on this rock, and embrace your flaws while working towards healthy goals.
I get excited when you post something! Thank you for the recipes.
Do you know what spices she used. Does she give her recipes written down somewhere?
@@cassidynichols-dahill1066 I was wondering the exact same thing!! Where's the link to the recipe??
God I love your relationship with food and your content. Thank you so much for doing your part in improving the health of our communities.
I love her relationship with American Heart Association whose biggest donors are the meat, egg and dairy industries - the number one culprits to cause heart disease. Use critical thinking when consuming sponsored content.
Om glad to see you back in my feed 🥹🫶✨
i appreciate you and your content! it is difficult to think of healthy choices while stressed and depressed!
This looks so simple and good and filling
This is a brilliant way to get more plants into breakfast! 😋
This looks so good, I will definitely be trying this! I love your vegetarian meals!
Dutch dietician here; guidelines change according to research. That's why nutritional organisations say one thing a few years back and the another thing now.
For egg intake: it is an advice in general and made for the culture and demographics that apply to your country. For instance in the Netherlands, we give the advice to take 2-3 eggs a week. Americans and Dutch people have different diets and health organizations give different forms to what research says. They look at the whole puzzle, not just one puzzle piece. Advice for you, specifically can vary according to your needs (based on age, gender, ethnicity, genetic makeup, daily activity, etc) and dietary choices (cultural food preferences, ethical reasons, belief systems, etc). This is why, if you talk to a good dietician, you can hear: " 14 eggs a week is no problem." Or: "maybe slow down on the eggs to a maximum of 7."
If you're worried about your cholesterol, talk to a dietician. If you cannot afford this; try to avoid fatty meats, eat more nuts, seeds and fatty fish, increase your wholegrain, vegetable, and fruit intake and make shure you move/excercise at least 30 mins a day. The easiest way to find free and reliable information is through foundations such as the one she mentioned.
My bf eats 5 eggs EVERYDAY. Should I be worried for him?🥲
I don't know about worried. I'd start with curiosity towards him. It really depends on the rest of his eating patterns, lifestyle and health. By being curious, you can learn a lot, such as why he eats five eggs a day and what the rest of his diet contains. A variety in diet is important, but if he switches the eggs for marshmallow fluff on bread... I don't think that's a good alternative. Because I know only 2 relevant things about your bf (male, 5eggs a day) and this is the internet, where you don't want to share all your personal data, you can always see a dietician in your neighborhood and ask for a short consultation if your boyfriend agrees. If not, I think eating at least one or three eggs a day less would not hurt him. Try to replace it with other lean protein, or plant based products, such as hummus.
Dutch are way healthier looking. We should look to their standards instead of the other way around
@@blondeyesbluehair thank you for reply!
@CyberMachine I actually agree on this. I have to say, I haven't seen such healthy people like the Dutch before. And people from the Middle East always glow
“You can have 7 eggs a week as part of a heart healthy diet” as I’m looking at my chickens while I feed them and who provide me with a steady source of eggs for my DAILY breakfast 🥲
We know ten is also an acceptable number, and if you aren't sensitive to dietary cholesterol, a few more won't make or break you
I’ve been trying to eat more heart-healthy this year and this is great info to have! Thank you!!
Eggs are NOT heart healthy. The reason this was posted is because the American Heart Association paid her to promote one of their biggest donors. The egg industry is backing them. The AHA is known to promote their donors and recommend people consume their products despite them being the number one cause of coronary artery disease. The food industry has major US health orgs in a chokehold with money. Think.
great info young lady...
I eat about 7 eggs just during breakfast in the form of scrambled eggs then I snack on boiled eggs throughout the day. My cholesterol is just fine I’m just active at the gym and meat makes me feel sick after I eat it so I use tofu and eggs for my proteins lol
Same eat about 12-18 eggs a week lol
This would also be a great breakfast for dinner! Looks so beautiful and delicious.
This reminds me of shakshuka! Love savory breakfasts :)
The roasted veggies look delicious! I'll skip the eggs, but definitely trying out the veg.
I probably have like........ 9 per week.... they're tasty!!
I am obsessed with your channel. As a holistic ADHD, full time working mom who loves nutrition, your channel completes me.

Yum, I love the veggies and I love eggs!
Looks delicious, Yummy ❤!
Love eggs! Such and easy and affordable way to get a filling whole protein.
As an egg lover THANK YOU. Now I can eat eggs without worrying about my cholesterol intake 😊
Because a person online who is being paid to say this is reassuring you? The nonprofit that paid her to spread this information is backed by the meat, dairy and, you guessed it - egg industry. Consuming their products in excess is the number one cause of coronary artery disease. When the American Heart Association itself is telling you that it's okay to clog your arteries you should probably take a step back and think twice about the reason why this was posted in the first place.
Savory breakfast girl>>>😌🤌🏾
As a mom of a toddler, sheet pan meals are life. Thanks for sharing this idea!
I love your food yum delicious
Looks great Thank you for egg thing! I am reassured ☺️
ONLY 7 EGGS PER WEEK?
I eat much more than that lol
My cholesterol is fine
You can eat more
Statistics are about broad trends and general advice, not individual medical outcomes
I eat 4 a day
My teen eats 5 lol
She figured out toast w/her 4 eggs made her hungry so she tossed the toast n made another egg. Perfect now! She adds mayo on top for more satiety. Usually eats again bout 6 hrs later. A glass of kefir with it and half an orange or a some kiwi if rly hungry but carbs make her hungry…
I love it! Yum! Thank you! 😊❤
Love this partnership! ❤
Amy suggestions on how long to bake them in the oven?
Probably should open, check and if it's ready, take out or continue
The anti egg stuff is total BS.

Your hair is so fine ❤
My gurl right here! I love eggs.
American Heart Association, who has told people to eat rancid cheap vegetable oils that the human body can’t digest, is now saying we can eat 7 eggs a week lol when we’ve been eating eggs and animal fats since the beginning of time.
I made this and it's delicious
Thank you! I love one sheet recipes and I'm excited to try this one sheet breakfast. It looks so delicious.
You are changing my mindset on food. Thank you for your content💖

Oh my I am so glad that you put everything into the description I am big on folks that are doing meals on here that they give all the ingredients and instructions in the description so I am definitely a subscriber to you between your healthy meals and it being a sheet meal and the fact that you disclose all the information that we need thank you so much for your details😊❤ so important
Love your videos ❤❤❤
Love this idea
I do almost the same thing but I throw in a can of drained black beans as well. So nice on a cold morning and easy to make. As for eggs, I have a mixed relationship. I love them for the easy protein which helps my ADHD brain work, but now that I'm headed into menopause my body doesn't work like it used to. So I've been saving whole eggs for things like this or on top of congee, but I stick to egg whites for scrambles (with veggies) and egg bites.
She’s back !
Looks yummy!
❤congratulations on the Collab❤
Totally going to make this this weekend 😍 thanks Kylie!
My stress has taken my appetite away again and I haven't been eating. Thank you for making videos on making eating more accessible ❤
congrats on this partnering 🥳👏
Yummmm 😍 😍 😍
Yay I was hoping you’d post soon, I love you and your energy. Sad to hear I should only have 7 eggs a week though.
You can eat more if you want
Everyone is different. Get tested for cholesterol and see where you’re at. It’s also dependent on other factors and not just eggs alone. What else are you eating? How active are you? Does your have family have a history of high cholesterol?
This looks great :)
This looks delicious! Thank you for the info on cholesterol!
OMG BLESS YOU ...
Am I overlooking the recipe for this (seasonings, oven time and temp, etc)? It looks delicious, and I'd love to try it!
I wish you posted more, probably checked your channel 15 times since your last post! Love all of your meal tips!
Hope you are having an amazing 2024 btw!
This is awesome I'm making this tomorrow
Thanks so much for this! My cholesterol was a bit higher than I realized it would be, so, of course, that info made me afraid to eat anything except for seafood. This is really helpful and eased my mind❤
If my cholesterol was high, I don't know that I would eat foods that already had a lot of cholesterol in them, despite what this video says.
Heat disease is one of the leading killers for Americans and high cholesterol is in that wheel house. And things don't tend to naturally get better when we leave them as is, they get worse over time. Not trying to be an alarmist. I would just take it seriously while it's at the stage of "a bit higher than I realized it would be" bcuz you can't put a price on peace of mind for your health.
Cant wait to try this
Oh! I do a recipe similar to this one! So easy to bake ahead. I do prep eggs same day, but, you're right, it's so savory and yummy!
AHA PARTNERSHIP?? You go girl!!!
Yum
I really love your videos! These meals do really seem easy and delicious! I think you’re really helping people!

Oh yes...great idea!❤
hearing her say 7 eggs was like every kick I gave to the balls in my lifetime combined. 😭
Oooh I was just thinking about this since my yearly physical showed I need to work on cholesterol, thank you so much!!!!
well then you better quit the carbs
Do NOT take health advice from someone who is paid to say this. The American Heart Association is backed by the food industry, they are known to promote foods that are the number one cause of coronary artery disease. The food industry controls major US health orgs. No one who has your actual best interest in mind would tell you to eat more eggs if you struggle with high cholesterol. Please use critical thinking.
