One thing I've learned in my Marriage: Women are very practical. They don't really value when their husband shares his dreams, visions, goals, advice, etc. because they have a difficult time interpreting it as just a moment to connect, as opposed to something that's not particularly useful to their immediate needs. That doesn't mean they don't love or appreciate you, it just means that you have to present or communicate them in a practical way, and the right moment. I decided years ago that I wouldn't take this personally, and would no longer share 'my dream sessions' unless invited.

That’s sad but I understand. My wife was obsessed with every detail of our wedding and it hurt her to know that I didn’t really care about any of the details. She took it as “he doesn’t care what venue we’re at” as “he doesn’t value this day and thus our relationship as much as I do” which tbh makes could’ve skipped the whole wedding and just gotten married. I was trying to explain it to her in a way to not hurt her but in the end it didn’t do any good she still got sad
