I remember owning this game. I had a lot of fun with it and played it with my friends. When you guys "pretend" you're not fighting and then you "accidentally" kick each other's ass and use dirty tactics and spam moves. That's exactly what I remember from this game. There were definitely characters in this game that were better than others.
This game back in the day with your brothers and friends all rotating each loss doing it tournament style was very intense and I miss it very much :,( this game was great.
The imperfects had really interesting backstories. Brigade in particular I remember being a frankenstein of sorts, made of body parts of a dozen or so soldiers/marines.
this game had such an early 2000s line up it pretty much had anyone from the movies that were currently out around that time Spider-man, X-Men, F4, and Daredevil.if this was made today the roster would be totally different the lack of Thor Captain America and Hulk seem a bit off but i remember this was made in a time when they weren't popular at all
Man, this brings back so much childhood memory! My cousins and I used to duke out a lot in this game and only I knew how to throw a "fatality" move which made them almost gave up.
Reecethebest when I was younger and I first laid eyes on marvel nemisis for some reason I thought It was a sequel to ultimate alliance before the second one was a thing and I remebered being disappointed at first realising it isnr a sequel and enjoyed it for what it was ironicly I thought this game was better then ultimate alliance 2 when that came out because I remembered being disappointed even more about that game because at the end of the lat game they promised Galactus would be the main threat and then it pissed me of when they defeated him of screen and just did civil war instead I liked the other one because it was an original story while this was a copy pased of the civil war storyline now I wouldn't of minded if the game was called civil war and not ultimate alliance 2
I love this game.. and my Favorite is Thing. I love their design with all five fingers and ears. The voice actor was under par.. but his move were spot on.
I had great memories of battles on here. I threw my brother as spider man off the bridge. He started to swing back and I tackled him and we both went off the bridge, and I got the win. Thats my best memory of this game.
My little brothers hated when I played as Venom or Spiderman and was on a bridge or on the Daily Bugle. It was always so easy to fling non flying characters over the edge xD
Oh man, I fucking loved this game. I kind of liked how Venom was considered one of the "good" characters in the story missions. He was so fun to play as.
This game is so much better than you give it credit for. Every character has a projectile. Even the thing has a seismic clap. It's the same combination with every character: right trigger plus basic attack. Using the right trigger with any other button does a better version of that move, but consumes energy. When enraged, you have infinite energy. Left trigger allows special movements, like swinging, flying, scaling walls, etc. Also, every character has a finisher; use special grab when they have very low health. Characters have really cool attacks, combos, and abilities you didn't show at all. To say you scratched the surface would be an overstatement.
You gotta remember that they aren't reviewing this. They're often playing these games for the first time and they do still like it, despite how clueless they are.
Wolfgang Kenshin yea right correct, if they remake this game really good it would blow injustice out the way (as a great superhero fighting game)....i can just imagine how cool it wud be to use alternate costumes from movies/shows ect. 🙉🙈🙊
Believe it or not there's actually a decent amount of depth to the gameplay if you learn it. Lots of attack, block, grab RPS, meter management, 5-6 hit combos, and a really good albeit scarce resource in the super block
I loved this game, the characters actually interacted with each other depending on who came out with who and the story was actually a story mode in a fighting game
Yoooo this series is taking me back to a lot of my GameCube favorites. I'm about to shed a thug tear. And I still think this is one of the most entertaining fighting games...ever. Marvel should look at what they had set up here, 3D destructible environments, and translate it to current gen with more characters, slicker combat mechanics, and a better soundtrack. Forget the campaign who cares.
"The controls arent perfect" "would you say their IMPERFECT" "VERY GOOD Mason, VERY GOOD" i found this way funnier than i should have. these two are fucking hilarious together.
I've played this and you're kind of killing me. Venom is my personal favorite. Spider-Man and Daredevil can shoot with the power button. And characters like Spidey and Magneto can grab characters without being by them by pressing the power button and the grab button. Spidey can also use his web to grab items like that. If you get close with someone like The Thing and use a power grab he will have a really good throw to damage you. Also rage means you can use the gun without limits.
Changed my mind you need to play the game Renegade. Was for NES or Sega Master System. Kinda fun but also super activating. You get to kick punkasses into subway trains tho. Super gratifying.
That was one of my favorite games back in the day, loved it. You guys should check out the Zvitor Infinity War (which is just a better version of your 90's beat'em up games... fanmade) for the upcoming Infinity War movie, or maybe the Death and Return of Superman game for the upcoming Justice League (in which we'll see the Return of the Death we've already seen in Batman v. Superman: Unnecessary Subtitle.)
Man, this game is a nostalgiafest. I actually like some of the original heroes for this game, Hazmat in particular. They should've done more with them. Play more Imperfects.
I played Marvel Imperfects it is a greatly underrated game I really enjoyed playing it especially the multiplayer but the single player wasn't so bad either
It doesn't hold up as well as you'd think, Game Informer did a RePlay of it a while back, and they were shocked how bad it was (and so was I!). Same with half the games from that era like Punisher doesn't hold up as well as we thought (only the cool torture kills, the rest sucks), Hulk Ultimate Destruction is fuckin lame and jank now (even tho no one has attempted a game like that since so it gets points for being the only real "superhero destroys buildings and can basically fly"-game), Spider-Man 2 is a piece of shit compared to the PS4 one IMO (don't fuckin@me IDC), Marvel Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends don't hold up, as evidenced by the Switch sequel getting shit on and totally forgotten post-launch, idk I guess I just don't like games from that era anymore bc I've been spoiled by the newer generations. I will say there were some really good Nintendo games back then, and maybe a Sony or Microsoft exclusive here or there, but the Remastered versions are always infinitely better, so it's like why bother? Just my opinion tho idk.
Any suggestions for games? I'm amassing quite a collection of games that'll never play again.
Mr Sunday Movies tenchu
Predator Concrete Jungle man, it's a fairly shit game but it's fun just playing as the predator!

Hey! I secretly love this game. Some of the villain designs are very creative.
I love this game
It’s not a secret no more
When James paused after saying "the Defenders of...", I knew that I only had a few seconds to turn the volume down before I blew out my speakers.
"It's not perfect..."
"Would you say it's... IMPERFECT???!?"
Haven't played this game in 10 years... Damn man, time flies.
This game is amazing.
it is
Bob Burgers why? I'd venture pretty much all cross platform games were better on the xbox.
When your opponents health is really low when it says danger press R1+circle for a finisher or fatality when close to your opponent
Froggy Shot yes omg I was waiting for the to do the "fatalities" lmao
I remember owning this game.
I had a lot of fun with it and played it with my friends.
When you guys "pretend" you're not fighting and then you "accidentally" kick each other's ass and use dirty tactics and spam moves.
That's exactly what I remember from this game. There were definitely characters in this game that were better than others.

i'd love a part 2, i like it when you guys are actually having fun with these games
Amazing video, thanks for the upload. Disappointed that the Defenders of the Earth intro wasn't 300% louder than it should have been.
Wow I sucked at the campaign as a kid and all I had to do was suck even more in versus to get all the characters :(
WeReallyOutHereBaby I remember the campaign mode being terrifying!! (At the time I was around 6) haha. I also remember the graphics looking stellar
Jaxson Davis im having the same memories. This was cool game before online multiplayer took over.
The imperfects had really interesting backstories. Brigade in particular I remember being a frankenstein of sorts, made of body parts of a dozen or so soldiers/marines.
I mean it wasn’t Balanced, so the boss were hard
this game had such an early 2000s line up it pretty much had anyone from the movies that were currently out around that time Spider-man, X-Men, F4, and Daredevil.if this was made today the roster would be totally different the lack of Thor Captain America and Hulk seem a bit off but i remember this was made in a time when they weren't popular at all
Man, this brings back so much childhood memory! My cousins and I used to duke out a lot in this game and only I knew how to throw a "fatality" move which made them almost gave up.
Aww man they finally got to it...
I LOVED THIS GAME! Venom(alt) was my main man.
One of my favorite games from my childhood, had it on the og xbox. By far my favorite multiplayer super hero game
Play marvel ultimate alliance
Reecethebest yep
Particle I used to play Ultimate Alliance all the time, along with Ultimate Destruction and Marvel Nemesis.
Yeah but ultimate alliance is not garbage is amazing
I'd buy that for a dollar
I love this game.. and my Favorite is Thing. I love their design with all five fingers and ears. The voice actor was under par.. but his move were spot on.
I had great memories of battles on here. I threw my brother as spider man off the bridge. He started to swing back and I tackled him and we both went off the bridge, and I got the win. Thats my best memory of this game.
I remember Iron Man and Venom being the most powerful.
OMG the Spiderman vs Venom fights were the best.
+Angelo Gopaul My brother hated those fights because I would spam a particular attack chain.
My little brothers hated when I played as Venom or Spiderman and was on a bridge or on the Daily Bugle. It was always so easy to fling non flying characters over the edge xD
+Jake Pope That's what I would do pretty much. Oh the nostalgia.
Johnny ohm was the shit tho i loved that character lol
I had this game for my psp and I loved it dearly. Aw the memories
Ryan Simmons I know! I had it for the GameCube and game boy. Watching this video was way too nostalgic haha
I feel like if they would've made this game again it would be perfect. They could do all sorts of stuff with it.
4:55 *Ultimate Spider-Man PS2* is also based on a Comic Book 📚
I loved this game so much, my childhood game
This was the first video game i ever played
Oh man, I fucking loved this game. I kind of liked how Venom was considered one of the "good" characters in the story missions. He was so fun to play as.
Magneto Brigade sounds like an awesome comic run
I remember thinking this game had amazing graphics back when I had it on my game cube...what simpler times those were.
I know they've done lots of Spider-Man games but "Friend or Foe" would be great for this segment. It's a lot like this but more Spider-Man focused.
Omg I played this game so much in 2005. I don't remember the graphics sucking so bad lol. Thanks for the crack up
Wow, I used to love this game as a kid, it was actually the first game I bought by myself, I completely forgot about it though.
Mr Sunday Movies got us again with a "Defenders Theme" DANG IT!
Okay, was actually genuinely intrigued by the Defenders of the Earth bit. You should watch that for Caravan of Garbage.
This game is so much better than you give it credit for. Every character has a projectile. Even the thing has a seismic clap. It's the same combination with every character: right trigger plus basic attack. Using the right trigger with any other button does a better version of that move, but consumes energy. Wolfgang Kenshin yeah. I was watching like, "Use the special moves!"
Wolfgang Kenshin if they remade this game or something now a days they would kill it I swear it be awesome
I use to play this so much when I was a kid. Venom and Wolverine are the best lolz
I absolutely loved this game and wish The Imperfects returned in some capacity
“Can I pick up whatever that is? Nope, it’s fire.”
This was one of my favorite games as a kid
Played this game a lot as a kid. So much nastolgia!
Please make more videos like this where you play games together. This was wildly entertaining.
This was the most hyped game of all my childhood!!
I rocked this game so hard! I always played as Iron Man and loved his finish where he'd blast his opponent with his chest laser till they became ash!
I used to play the hell out of this game when i was little
I used to love this game! I had it for Gamecube
I'm looking forward to the new Marvel tie-in comic- Adventures of Hover Boy and Niles Crane
5:23 did he just did the emma stone amzing spider man laugh? :D
Believe it or not there's actually a decent amount of depth to the gameplay if you learn it. Lots of attack, block, grab RPS, meter management, 5-6 hit combos, and a really good albeit scarce resource in the super block
I’ve missed the Defenders of the Earth theme ❤
Such a great game. Still play it to this day. I'm a beast at it, combining combos nd shit, grabbing ppl mid air etc.
Great video fellas! I hope you go back and learn the finishers. Pretty good stuff. Still hoping to see Origins Wolverine on here soon!
"Stop shooting your stink at me, mate!"- Mr Sunday Movies 2017
I loved this game, the characters actually interacted with each other depending on who came out with who and the story was actually a story mode in a fighting game
This game was my childhood!
I actually liked this game. It wasn't bad. Not great, but amusing.
"Is that Johnny Storm?" "...Yeah, he needs to see somebody." LOL!
"The controls arent perfect"
"would you say their IMPERFECT"
"VERY GOOD Mason, VERY GOOD"
i found this way funnier than i should have. these two are fucking hilarious together.
I loved this game as a kid
Oh man, I have this game, back in 2005 it was actually amazing. I remember The Thing being totally broken haha.
_"Stop Mercy"_

*"pew pew"*
I actually really enjoyed this game. to this day, venoms "game over" line runs through my head at almost every end of a match in any game since.
This game was my childhood
This game is great,we need more games with this type of gameplay. A sequeal/reboot needs to be made, make it happen Marvel!!!!
use to love this game! story mode was fun just a little difficult
Loved this game so much. Was my reason to get a PS2
I've played this and you're kind of killing me. Venom is my personal favorite. Spider-Man and Daredevil can shoot with the power button. YES! I loved this game as a kid!
I just want to thank Ben for not blowing out our ears with the Defenders of the Earth theme song, like a certain goat-headed man likes to do 😒 lol
I can't be the only person who fucking loves this game

Definitely one of the best games y'all have played.
My GOD I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH IT WAS MY CHILDHOOD
This actually looks fun and still somewhat decentish graphic wise
You guys should do a play through series!
I’d love to watch one like this with the Spiderman Friend or Foe vs mode. 👌🏻
I loved this game and they should make another like it with better up to date graphics
the greatest thing about this game is you can throw stuff around
This game was great! Loved playing it with my brothers. Also, you guys should play Marvel's Ultimate Alliance
I love this game! Played the shit out of it as a kid
Changed my mind you need to play the game Renegade. Was for NES or Sega Master System. Kinda fun but also super activating. You get to kick punkasses into subway trains tho. Super gratifying.
I remember this game, I loved it back in the day!
This game was my life as a wee lad
I loved thus game growing up!
you didn't perform any finishing moves? those were awesome. i really liked the combat in this game. fun animations and battles
Man, this game is a nostalgiafest. I actually like some of the original heroes for this game, Hazmat in particular. They should've done more with them. Play more Imperfects.
I still have this game for the GameCube, I remember doing the same bridge cheat, lol.
I remember wolverine being amazing
You remember wrong. He's actual bottom tier.
I dont, cause I'd get thrown off the map and couldn't get back up.
I'd watch more of this
"Has there ever been a good video game tie in to a comic?"
Death and Return of Superman and Maximum Carnage- "Am I a joke to you??"
I played Marvel Imperfects it is a greatly underrated game I really enjoyed playing it especially the multiplayer but the single player wasn't so bad either
I would love to see you guys play "The Warriors" on PS2.
It's an old Rockstar game based on the 1979 cult movie.
Just my opinion tho idk.
@@narcspector I only tried playing it once, it did like like a pretty bad game. That's why I recommended it. It is "Caravan of Garbage" after all.
I loved this vid! Play this again sometime soon!
Now this was my shit as a kid.
I loved this game when I was a little kid
