Perhaps it is because is one of the very few MK where the mechanism of gameplay consists more of free area movement and adventure mode, instead of continuous side-by-side mano-a-mano fights

There's an easier way to beat shang tsung, Wait until he transforms into reptile and beat on him until he does his combo breaker... It's just a teleport that does no damage to you. the moment he reappears, restart the combo. He usually teleports a few steps away from your character so if you were to beat him around the arena, you can essentially predict where he's going to appear. This works with all 4 playable story mode characters, although it's easiest with Kung Laos' dive kick combo.

@@JabaPlay My bad I checked it properly and it's not actually a boss fight. Coz I was remembering fight with ermac, Scorpion, reptile and sub- zero. It is in that secret survival mode on level 9. Again my apologies 😅
