Ninja Gaiden is the only game that the enemy is very active on attacking the player. They are not just waiting to get hit by you. It's vary sad that we dont have this game franchise years since the last game release
Not a lot of people know this but the second shadow ninja you fight at the village isn't Rasetsu it's someone named Gyuki. He's only mentioned in a diary you find on the Daedalus in which a Spider Clan member talks about Ryu's fight with them saying he only got lucky.

the statue of liberty was one of the most intimidating bosses for me when i first played ng2 as a kid. i was shiting my pants after seeing i'd had to fight such a massive boss and the looks of the statue itself just emanete tension. i have to say that it wasn't a hard boss fight ,it was chanllenching at best but it was surely the most tense for me
I was lucky to have found the Vita port of this gnarly game, sigma 2 plus. Poking forward to beating this game. Makes me feel nostalgic, reminds me of the gnarly rivalry between Ninja Gaiden and Dmc. Know they both require skill not just killing your foes. Momoji is best girl and always will be.
@Georg3 Jung It is the best game by far, mechanics wise. It of course has a way worse story than GoW and the dialogues are as shitty or even worse. But the mechanics make up for it by a wide margin. The most perfect mechanics ever made. The design, music and graphics are also way above average, but the mechanics and the gameplay in general are what make it so unique. Sadly, only Team Ninja would be so diligent with that kind of stuff, so hardly that will come from a different studio. There are two games that brought me almost as much satisfaction with their mechanics as Ninja Gaiden Black did: God Hand and Sekiro. Both were marvelous, but not as frenetic as Ninja Gaiden. I would love to see another game as polished while being so absurdly fast at the same time.
@Georg3 Jung Well, Sekiro is completely worth it. If your economy is fine, I would advise you to get it. Also, it has a good story, which Ninja Gaiden has always lacked. Its storytelling is also quite different compared to other From games... it is way more straightforward, but it still has many elements that you have to make an effort in order to find or to understand them, which makes the story much richer. But well, as you saw before, what I care the most about is mechanics and gameplay, which are terrific in this game. About what you said, you only have one weapon, but you also have a prosthetic arm with many different attachments (you could say, with many different weapons), so variety is not something to worry about in Sekiro. I have a friend who already has Ghost of Tsushima (press release). He has enjoyed it a lot, but he can't tell me details yet. Anyways, I won't actually know until I test it myself hahaha. Another game I would recommend you is the Dark Souls "clone" made by Team Ninja: NiOh. I haven't played it yet, but I bought it a few weeks ago. Even if I haven't played it, I'm quite sure it is a great game. At this point, I have blind faith for Team Ninja, but I have also read many great reviews. It is way faster than Dark Souls, but of course way slower than Ninja Gaiden. Nevertheless, I have no doubt it must be a great game (and it is probably the one and only Team Ninja game with a story that isn't completely pitiful hahaha). Oh, and the second part is supposed to be even better.

NG2 was such a great game. it is such bullshit that PS3 owners got such a neutered and watered down version (thankfully that was fixed for the vita version). the blood and gore was what made the game so memorable and epic.

Yeah, everything that Koei Tech added or changed felt contrived. This is most evident to me in the new bosses, what does the Budda Statue, Lady Liberty, Tengus or the Black Dragon add to the game? First the Budda Statue, to me Rasetsu felt like the best way to introduce what you're up against later on in the game, I never played a Dead or Alive game or NG black before NG2, so I was under the impression that magic would be the most abnormal thing I'd come across, then when I reached the boss, I was surprised when Rasetsu turned into a giant spider man beast. But the Budda Statue breaks that as it pops up randomly, has a basic as bread attack pattern, AND FOR SOME REASON YOU REMATCH IT IMMEDIATELY AFTER RASETSU, WHAT?! Not only does it not feel as impactful as a first boss, it's a lame boss as well. The Statue of Liberty isn't as egregious, it's just executed poorly. Sure, Alexei is a metrophiliac and this may help out his fetish, I can live with that, but why does it become animated AFTER he dies? It would have been better if you fought it or it started moving before the Alexei fight. Then there's Tengus, ok, what does this have to do with the Ninja Gaiden story? Ninja Gaiden is meant to be a stand alone spin off to Dead or Alive, so this feels like it was put in to fill a quota and not progress the story. Finally, the Black Dragon, I'll admit that it's not as much of a headache as the Twin Quetzalcoatl fight in the original, but that's because of the bow controls. We see Elizabet riding a Quetzalcoatl at the end of the chapter and then fight that Quetzalcoatl in the next chapter, so what is the point to the Black Dragon?
The second Elizabeth encounter can be cheesed by using Genshin's corpse as a barrier and you can spam charged Scythe attacks on her. She'll will constantly attack but you will receive NO DAMAGE!

I saw NG trailer in 2004 , bought a used xbox , played it and finished it and sold the xbox the next day Never was interested in games and never will be but this one was the only exception and I don’t know why ,
when i play Ninja Garden Sigma 2 , i was soooo glad they put infinite arrows , and the hot waifus there too. Plus i didn't know they would added bigger bosses in , honestly this is the best Ninja Garden game i have ever played on the PS3, btw is this on PC in steam .

On the vita, the touchscreen activates the bow (and shoots it!) so i was ALWAYS out of arrows (kept accidentally shooting them). So i am glad they fixed the problem they made
they made passiblly the hardest game ever into this.... the original drove me insane on master ninja took months to complete this is so easy in comparisonwell at least the collection has 4 extra difficulties
Nioh is good. You can be agile as heck and still hit like a truck. and it is made by the same company that does ninja gaiden. I think you should give it a try

@@ninetails625 in fairness only ninja gaiden, dmc and Bayonetta were ever real skill based close combat games (excluding the abysmal DMC reboot attempt). All other games were superficial or the focus was elsewhere.

This is due to its much better performance (and no freezings) , graphics, content and much fair difficulty (360 version one was very cheap and annoying on mentor if you ask me). In conclusion, even though both versions are great the ps3 version is the definitive one as were Black and Sigma. Greetings 👍👍👍.

Design-wise the awakened archfiend is one of my favorite "classic demon" bosses of all time. The look was pitch perfect for the Ninja Gaiden world.

u cant have your weapons maxed out. in sigma 2 upgrades are given to you as u by pogression, u cant buy them like in the original.

@@OfficialTruDru not as good as the original NG2 though. Sigma versions have always been weaker. Sigma 2 for example has censored gore. Best play original NG2 on xbox 360

I currently dont have an xbox but 2 is much better. more enemies easier to dismember also it looks better, if u have an xbox one x play ng2 if not play ngs2.

@@JabaPlay In my humble opinion ngs2 is way superior to its counterpart. This is due to its much better performance (and no freezings) , graphics, content and much fair difficulty (360 version one was very cheap and annoying on mentor if you ask me).
In conclusion, even though both versions are great the ps3 version is the definitive one as were Black and Sigma.

Prep so the end boss doesn’t seem super lazy and out of place. And they need filler because play time is way decreased with the game being this easy, I assume atleast I only played the real version not this kiddy baby stuff
