Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Mortal Kombat : Armageddon's Arcade mode.
Mortal Kombat : Armageddon was released in 2006 on the PS2 and XBOX, and a year later in 2007 it was released on the Wii.
Mortal Kombat : Armageddon contains an abundance of 'Kontent'. Konquest mode makes a return and is an absolute blast to play, focusing on the story of Taven and his brother Daegon (two new characters introduced in this game).
Instead of 'Chess Kombat' and 'Puzzle Kombat' from Mortal Kombat : Deception, we have a new mode here called 'Motor Kombat'. Think of it as 'Mario Kart meets MK'; it's great fun and is a good way to mix things up if you get tired of Arcade mode or Konquest mode.
Also, Mortal Kombat : Armageddon does away with unique fatalities for each character and replaces them with the generic 'Kreate-a-Fatality' system, which i'm not too fond of. There is even a 'Kreate-a-Fighter' mode, which allows you to make your own unique combatant (but with an already enormous character roster, is that necessary?).
Overall, Mortal Kombat : Armageddon is a great game simply due to it's abundance of 'Kontent'. Without the extra 'Kontent' though, you can see that it houses a fighting engine beginning to show it's age, and lacks both depth and technicality.

For more than 5 years now i've been using his videos to help me sleep, while eating, as background sound when playing other games, or just watching him to lighten me up while i'm sad or depressed, i achieved my bachelor's degree studying with his videos on, this guy is seriously one of the most familiar voices for me, I really want a chance to tell him how much i appreciate him and eagerly waiting for him to come back.

Nowadays you do not play the game to unlock new characters, you pay real money for DLC, season passes and in game currency to unlock new characters and other content that is already on the disc. If this continues to go on, the gaming industry will have a painful death. We were lucky back then to have an awesome game like this, that had lots of characters to chose from, compare this to Street Fighter 5 guys.

For me, this was the game that made me a Mortal Kombat fan and I used to play it all the time with my cousins when it first came out! I still own it to this day and play the living hell outta it whenever I can!

@@jamesedleymusic it is easier to get the dolphin emulator and just play the Wii version. It won't take much time to fix the controls. To play the PS2 version on an emulator on pc it is much more complicated because you need to mod your PS2 by adding a chip... And then download epsxe2

Gstar is such an underrated UA-camr. He deserves so much fame. He’s so much funnier than the bigger UA-camrs. I mean, they are great but Gstar is definitely the funniest
It'd ruin it if he did make it 'big' though, part of his charm is that he more or less DGAF. He keeps it real, he's just an authentic, enthusastic gamer who's very naturally funny and is excellent at explaining things. The Aussie accent is a bonus. If he went down the Pewdiepie route I'd never forgive him.
Gstar's Bo Rai Cho rage is legendary but I find his loathing for Kai to be just as fascinating.

Motor Kombat is fucking lit, completely forgot it existed but I loved it as a kid
I kinda wish they would take Motor Kombat, do some minor touch-up work on it, and just release it on it's own for like $7.99 on the PS4 and Xbox One. It's a crafty little game and playing it online was a blast.

MK trilogy was my first MK game
With MKA, I feel like they was trying too hard to introduce new things to the point where they ran out of space, and the original feel to it was lost, like with the fatalities! They could have kept that create your own stuff out, and used that space for two fatalities for each fighter!! If Ed Boon and the rest of the development team would have did it like that, then this game would have been GREAT!
I wish that when you would create a character you could add another characters fatality for your own character

+Apex3 Security Mk4 was ok. it had that same mk1,2 and 3 feel to it, but in 3D. Deception had sound glitches! they could have improved the sound quality on that one in my opinion.

I think this game single handedly left a sour taste in a lot of people’s mouths regarding the 3D era games. Compared to Deception this game was a huge downgrade, really wish they released it a year later
