Janmark is a force - Definitely one of the best bottom 6s players in the league
I used to dislike Janmark and Foegele, and really strongly prefer Mcleod and especially Holloway. But in the past couple series Jan and Foegele have made me think a lot better of them. They both have that constant 110% hustle and grit that you can throw out there when the big guns aren’t finding it, or to keep the pressure on, and now they’re finally starting to have some success and not make so many bad mistakes. I still love Holloway and Mcleod, I think their speed and pressure is really needed on a line with guys like Drai, Kane, and Perry. I really like seeing Holloway and Mcleod play together.

@@BloodRider1914 exactly because in NBA, great players affect far more the games because a team only has a few player changes. In hockey you have 20+ players and the best can't play more than 25min+ (40%) therefore you need to rely on many good players to go far in the playoffs.

The ice surface in the Panthers arena looks really bad. It was rough watching Edmonton fumble the puck and lose edges. Even the commentators were talking about it. But even with the advantage it gives to the Panthers, Edmonton had all the momentum. I hope this goes to game 7

it was bad, McDavid rarely ever bobbles a puck.. it happened like 3 or 4 times. and its not a matter of him losing the handle, it's the ice and how terrible it is. but it's to be expected with soo much humidity. with Temperatures at 30, 35 degrees you're going to have bad ice conditions. just how it is.

Offensively, Mcdavid will reach 1000 points at like 650-655 games while Crosby did it in 757 (Still the best in the salary cap era but Mcdavid will surely surpass that). On the other hand, Crosby won everything possible, Individual awards, Gold Medal, Stanley Cup, etc. I just hope they'll win Gold together in 2026.

this has turned into the most entertaining finals I've seen in quite some time. Really though the sweep was coming or maybe the 5 gamer with that one 4th game one-off to win it at home , but the Oilers have showed up and showed up big. Honestly as a 43 yo lifelong hockey fan and player, McDavid is probably the best I've ever seen play the game at this point. Give that dude 80's style hockey and he'd surpass200 points in a season like Gretz did a few times, I have no doubt. Hell they barely even if ever blocked shots back then lol.
At this point it'd be a shock if he doesn't win a conn smythe no matter who wins. Best postseason by a single player in decades, and arguably the most dominant one of all time. He's contributed on 52.5% of oilers goals these playoffs, which is more than gretzky or lemieux in their best playoff runs.

For me this clearly showed McDavid will be highly effective even when he loses his top speed. Just see how tired and slow he looked on that goal comparing from his own standard.

When Edmonton went up 3-0 I was like, this game is over! Panthers made a good comeback and fought hard in the 2nd and 3rd tho. I actually think momentum shifted back to the Panthers.
