@@TrueFoodTV thanks, you too, Nicole!
Best episode ever!
Nicole 😊- dear - you are the pioneer of ones explaining how things actually grow from fields to our dinner table - there may be many gardening channels but true interest is created by you - the content the variety everything .
Even the simplest of foods - garlic avocado peaches or potatoes - u can make them all seem wonderful
The best is the amalfi coast lemons ❤
U deserve more success
All the best my dear
You said heirloom, that's #1! Companion planting.
Glad to see you in your own garden.
You can put tint net above the fence
Nicole your garden looks great. I love seeing your heirloom tomatoes. Can’t believe the transformation of your garden from what was there since u moved in. Well done. Appreciate your enthusiasm
Thank you so much! So happy to have you watching.
The Best heirloom tomato 🍅 vides I’ve seen 👀
My favorite UA-cam gardiner!
Aw, thank you!
LOVE! Thanks Nicole for all your hard work. Very high production value and the content is superb...:)
Hey, that's so lovely to hear. Thank you so much!
paint the wire mesh in the garden fence black to reduce reflectivity and increase contrast.
You did show me the first Thornburg Terracotta plant I saw.and I copied you, That's still the only slicers that I've eaten whole and said WOW! I got Gardener Scott and Pairrie girl both on UA-cam to try them too.Pairrie girl loves it's flavor and trying it again this season. Gardener Scott says it's growing great and close to getting his first within weeks ( he will love them. He eats a lot of salads.
Thanks again, Lady, for advice about the beautiful Thornburg Terracotta tomatoes
You can also try to interplant lettuce under the shade of your tomato plants!
Yes! Great idea. I've got a row of basil taking advantage of their shade right now. Lettuce is a great idea!
I love your garden. It is a bit bushy but that's the best part
Yes, thanks for talking about the fence, looks nice from the inside and your garden does too, and you look very pretty as always.
Great video, Ms Jolly, Please do more!!!!
Hi Nicole,

Thanks for the great video, Nicole! That hat looks like it's got some miles on it.😂
You know it!! Old faithful. ;)
Your garden is beautiful Nicole, and so are you. Happy growing
Hey Nicole, nice to see you back again with some great content.
Thanks, Mark! Have you been following my shorts?
@@TrueFoodTV
@@TrueFoodTV I have been doing so but enjoy your longer content.
Wow very nice garden...congrats.❤🎉
I'm definitely jealous of your fence, I wish I had one to keep the deer and rabbits away. One day when I have a bigger lot I'll build something similar. I noticed my pickle cucumbers attracted a lot of predator bugs species which is great, they even moved to a bell pepper plant and ate all the bugs messing with that plant. Hopefully they make their way to my milkweed and eat the aphids, I've been killing them with soapy water, works great.
Yeah, soapy water is always a good bet! Usually I just sit and wait for the ladybug brigade to arrive. I had aphids ALL OVER my bronze fennel (which I grow as an ornamental) and sure enough ladybug larvae hoovered them up in short time.
Not having any rain has been ideal for insecticide use. Permethrin powder was working until the army-worms arrived where I had success with a liquid version of nerve-agent. I'm going to be forced to get a high-tunnel b/c the bug battle on tomato plants was a breeze this year.
The cage-wire on your fence is legit, 10/10. Though I think I'm going to use/order a galvanized carport frame with the more expensive smooth-bends..
Yeah, cost was definitely a concern when choosing the wire. Would have loved to go with something thicker, but went with 14 gauge galvanized in the end.
Thank you so much for your videos!
I love watching different gardens and getting inspiration :)
Me too! Thanks for watching!
Great to hear from.Ya
Thx 4 sharing
Aloha
Thanks for watching!
I'm a big fan of your work
I am following you since 2018, loved the content to much
Beautiful! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!!
Great update! I’m in zone 7A and the weather has been very challenging so far this year 😅
Crazy weather, right?!
When lettuce bolts I let it go. The next year I get lettuce coming up on their own. This year I planted lettuce on the north side of my building. It only gets direct sun in the morning and evening. So far the lettuce is doing a lot better than the lettuce on the south side. I am in zone 4 of north Wyoming.
I left the roots in the ground, so I'll be interested to see if it grows back when it cools down! I often let it go to gather the seed.
Love this! I really want to have a garden myself. Great informative video as always ❤
I'm so excited to see your enclosure/fence video!
Can not wait to show you! We just built BENCHES today!
wow a lot of kind..i hope i have the garde❤n in my wish
Wonderful job, you made there! It's very nice to see. I didn't know you can eat that beans just from the plant! Greetings from Argentina.
Hola! Yes, I love eating the beans fresh!
My fennel plant this year is full with beautiful caterpillars 🐛
Lots of butterflies soon!
Nice tank top. ❤❤❤
Looking forward for that fence video on how it was build. Cause I'm actually planning on building mine but can't figure out yet for the best idea.
Great video Nicole 👍🏻 , always learning :) looking forward to more Great garden and home videos .
And I still re-watch the the past gardening videos too 🪴 👩🏻🌾 🍅 those are so educational
Stay tuned for quite a few! Some of them require filming in stages so you can see the outcome of the techniques. Excited to show you when they're finished!
Wonderful ! Can’t wait :)
Your garden looks great! I am in zone 7 as well and also have flea beetle issues on my young eggplants.
Yes, it happens every year to mine! Pesky little fellas.
Fava beans... A guy I used to know told me that they go really well with a nice chiante... I think 🤔
Long time no see ^,^
Really? You haven't been watching my Shorts then! Check them out.
Fabulous! I'm also growing bary's crazy cherry this year, I'm very excited to see how they do
Let me know what you think! Eagerly awaiting them.
@@TrueFoodTV will do, they're looking pretty heavy at the moment with tons of tiny fruits
Hello! I'm watching your video, have a nice day.❤❤❤
Very nice ❤
You should make sure that people know that when you plant different varieties close together like that. It will not give off heirloom fruit but rather hybrids as they will cross pollinate. Unless you have the acreage to plant the varieties far far apart. So, when saving seeds you cannot guarantee which variety you will get from those seeds. It isn't bad to save those seeds and grow them. You just won't know which variety you are going to get and that can potentially be annoying if you end up not liking one of those varieties.
Other than that. A good video.
That's only an issue for collecting seed, yes. In terms of the fruit I'm harvesting this year, I do harvest the fruit of the seed that I plant. Hybridization is only a concern for the next generation of fruit (the fruit from the seeds of this year's fruit. Does that make sense?)
Great video
Can you do a video on how you keep squirrels and such out of your garden?
Yes, I will incorporate that into my upcoming video about rebuilding my garden fence.
ty!@@TrueFoodTV
Out there looking like the garden tomb raider 😂
hehe... I have been called Lara Croft before. ;)
Impressive progression with your garden. I highly recommend Aprovecho fava beans, I've tried Windsor and many others, and in my opinion nothing compares to Aprovecho.
Got to try these. Thanks!
I love it fellow non related Jolly!
Hello, another Ms. Jolly!!
If you have Japanese Beetle pressure wherever you are, how do you manage them?
i'm in upstate NY, i've got nothing growing well this year, very strange
💙💙💙
Beautiful gril❤❤❤I am new friend ❤❤❤❤for you😊😊
Doesn't corn require a minimum number of plants (in close proximity) in order to properly pollinate?
I should have explained that baby corn does not require pollination. I'll do another video when I'm harvesting and talk about it.

Salam kenal petani rumahan cantik saya dari indonesia ,sukses slalu
Hey! Where is located your garden? in what region?
I'm mid-Atlantic, zone 7
@@TrueFoodTV I guess, that your region's climate is softer and warmer, that my. I'm from Moscow region , have the same vegetable and berries. Average temperature is lower, but i try to grow) good luck 👍.
But tomatoes don’t need pollinators…you know that?
Yes, but it sure does help to have them!
Lady bug 🐞 have black head black legs
You are just so loveable arent you!
Awwwwww
Try and balance hundreds of grasshoppers.
You are over pruning. let the plants be !!!!
🇵🇭😊
As inquisitive as you are, see if you think the change in climate/weather is affecting what you can grow and when you can grow it. And grow strawberries, they’re great!
I have a couple of strawberry plants but the catbirds keep beating me to them! I've got to put some netting around them.
@@TrueFoodTV My biggest strawberry predator is a beagle 🐶!
Why have you stop making "how does it grow" style videos.
We're working on an awesome two-part episode right now! Hang in there!
love your garden and all of your videos, Nicole... I just can't help myself but to ask... "How Does It Grow"? 😉🤩💛
Hey, Chris! This video is a "How Does it Grow?" of another sort! ;)
@@TrueFoodTV lol I suppose it is, yes. I just love the science and shear scale of your series... i don't even garden, but its all very interesting and well presented, Nicole! Thanks for sharing your garden! 😊
Sharing to everyone of Jesus Christ, He is coming back. We are spiritually saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord God and Savior.
A god even can't save himself 😂😂
Jesus is not god, god of Abraham is.
You are gorgeous
