An excellent, informative, and high quality video. This video helped me make my final buying decision to purchase this lock. I only have one recommendation, please decrease volume or better yet do not include background music on future videos. In my opinion, the background music is distracting and does not add any value to your otherwise excellent video and content. Thank you for making this video.
Doesn't use a standard key so it won't be as easy to make duplicates or to re-key to your existing key for the other doors in your house. Lock Picking Lawyer probably will find it's pretty easy to get in. My Z-Wave lock batteries lasted 13 months. Ring integration means I can arm and disarm using the smart lock and it's in the Ring app.
1:53 also question on that. If this is a matter lock do you know if it can connect to any matter router - like if an alarm system is also a matter hub can you connect it via matter?
hello Steve great videos they help a lot. for you if you have to decide which smart lock to use. which you will choose. ? i m hesiating between aqara u100 , ultraloq pro wifi or yale nest
Do you know if it works through nfc on an android phone? Also would love to see a follow up maybe with several you have reviewed to see actual battery life. Maybe even with a good brand of rechargeable. I wish a company made a rechargable battery pack much like many stick up cameras.
Let me ask Aqara about NFC in Android phones. Which phone do you have? It would take a while to run through all these smart lock battery lives. I've been using the Amazon Basic brand rechargeable batteries in my locks and i love them.
Yes, Yes, Yes, BUT; I want to lock/unlock the door with my Iphone without all buying the extra stuff. I walk up to my Tesla with my Iphone in my pocket, the car door automatically unlocks or locks when I walk away. Can't I use my Iphone directly???
This door lock is a joke! How do you make this work with a 3-bolt armed door lock where the key turns 4,5 times from fully locked to fully opened (and vice versa)?
Hi, I would like to invite you to review our smart sprinkler controller, are you interested? Once connected to your home wifi, it can automatically adjust the frequency and amount of watering according to the weather and seasonal changes.☺

I have this lock for about a month. Absolutely amazing, works flawlessly and love it!!

I didn't see Google under the other platform, is that a limitation?

Thanks for the great video. Could you do a review on the best door locks on the market?
Hello! Great video! If you have TV (hardware, box), don’t you need its proprietary hub (optional)?

@@SteveDOES I have a pixel 6 pro, but would hope it would work with most
Have you had reliability issues with your testing or do you still use the lock?
I'm stuck between buying this lock or the ultraloq you reviewed. Since you used the ultraloq ultra pro....which do you prefer?
This lock doesn’t have wifi function. Could you give us advice if the wifi function is a good thing to have ? Thank you.

I know the old August WiFi locks have that feature. The moment the locks Bluetooth sees your phone it’ll Auto Unlock. Don’t have to pull out anything
Thank you for sharing good technology
Next week on LockPickingLawyer: "I unlock a door in five seconds"
That was a fluke….. no it wasn’t!
😂 Adding the physical keyhole to this smart lock is the sure way to make it stupid and vulnerable!
