Whew! At last!!!! I've had my UB-Xa on preorder for months at Sweetwater, but without a price yet. That's still the case now at 10:43 a.m. EST.
I had no idea there was a preorder available yet but good to know!
@@PureAmbientDrone -- It's been more of a placeholder than a "real" order as they don't even have a price yet. I expect that to change VERY soon.

They really pulled out all the stops for this machine. Seems like it's pretty much their flagship synth now! Maybe it'll make the used price of Deepminds go down 🤔
DM12 is a different beast, prices wont go down, it's a Juno6 clone, sounds nothing like the UBXa

Looks like this fits the bill for me. I've been waiting for the right poly analog synth to be released to pull the trigger.
Good choice! And very affordable too considering the features and the current market prices of other synths.
Looks like they quietly released a couple other things too. That Kobol module slipped out the door. But yeah, I want this thing seriously. If I can’t afford a real Obie, this will do quite nicely.
From the demo, this things sounds amazing and way below many other analog poly synths out there now.
@@PureAmbientDrone Hoping that Andertons can do an updated review on this. A lot of people flock to them for synth reviews, and their previous demo of the UB-XA is abysmal.
Hey James. I was just watching the video when your alert popped up. It sounds gorgeous. I will be buying it as soon as it drops on Sweetwater. I'm hoping for it to be in the $899 to $1199 range to buy it in one shot. I'm also hoping for them to drop it at the same time worldwide, maybe right before Christmas. All in all, this is great news in the synth world.
It would be great to see it for Christmas! Maybe the surprise they speak of on their FB page is a temporary price drop? But who knows?

With this price it will be the new best seller after the D-50
No where to be found on Sweetwater site and the price is $1499 per multiple sources. Can you drop a link to this $999 pre order?
It is too bad there are not 2 pairs of outs as you get on Hydra Deluxe or Summit; maybe one layer can be assigned to mono and the other to L/R outs? Sustain pedal is supposedly sostenuto which IMHO is fantastic. (Perhaps can be set to normal sustain in settings?) Comes with 8 vintage emulation presets; does that mean we will have direct access to those parameters ourselves? Panning VCA/voice; will we be able to route an inverted LFO to an otherwise identical second layer patch for Super 6 type effects? We will have to wait for a full review for full details of the mod matrix because it is NOT covered in what Behringer has the nerve to call a manual.
Yeah sounds great, really impressed, I only want it for some specific sounds so it's a no brainer for me.

@@PureAmbientDrone well you will laugh, I bought a Polyend Play cheap, I got it for the brains of my gear. Loop just released the Polyend Play + vid which is an updated version with synth engines.
Here is the thing, when you use the synth engines, you use up some of the MIDI tracks, you only have a total of 8, so you need to share.
I'm not interested in any of this and only want 8 MIDI tracks, the UBXa would take 2 of those as would the Rev 2 I have.
So I saved money, have what I want, will see when the UB Xa drops and then look at how I can fit it all in, but like I have said, the specific sound I want comes from a UB Xa and I am fine with buying one.
I can wait, I have other stuff to play with, it's all back on the desk now so good times rolling.

@dankeplace sounds like you know what you want with your studio setup. I too have done a ton of studio tweaks the several months. From new floors to new mixers. It's all coming together. I will do an update video about it.
@@PureAmbientDrone Looking forwards to it, my set up is hardly a studio, just some gear on my desk that is ergonomically designed so I can play it all at once.
I just have to wire it all up now and that is a pita as I have minimal space.
I enjoy it, it's fun, it's fun watching what others do so I like to share and be a part of a positive community.

I heard from another video that it is $1499.00. I honestly think it is too much synth for $999.99
