I got the source code on Patreon 😉 😂 I'll give you the solution anyways. It's not the best, but it just uses a Sprite with a raycast. Just setup some basic velocity stuff on the sprite and setup a random velocity angled up. Once the raycast touches the ground, keep the velocity to zero.
Yeah I keep looking back on it. I didn't see it's potential while I was working on it but I can see it now. I'm thinking about jumping back onto the project in the future. Thanks, for the support.
The blood particles are just sprites with raycasts pointed down checking if it hits a block. Once the raycasts hits, it interpolates it's velocity to 0. Hope this helps. The source code for this entire project is on Patreon as well.
