I would give it the same ratings, but if I knew that was all I was getting before buying the "games", I would not get any of them. Only the 30-dollar one had game functionality. Cutting down the trees and building a boat isn't really a "game". I feel like fiverr developers go in for the quick cash. I have seen better games from 2-D and Game Maker devs than 3-d ones. The 3-D developers seem to take assets, string them together, and then provide some low-grade functionality to call it a game. So for 35 dollars, you are supposed to get 5 levels. You wanted an open-world game, so there aren't really levels, but there should be at least 5 different environments to explore or 5 different enemies to fight or something. The second one was supposed to be 5 levels, but you went with an open-world game. Still, 5 levels should translate into at least 5 different environments to utilize. It was for a 2-D game, but he made you a 3-D game. I think you would have been better off just sticking with the 2-D open-world game. The third one admits he uses assets, so that's cool. Beyond the assets, what did he add? Character movement. Okay. Chop down trees? Yea. Die underwater? Sure. Lol. Build a ship by walking to the desk with enough work? Yea, got that. Beyond that, it's all assets, lol. The assets are beautiful, but there is no functionality for gameplay really. How long could it have taken him to make it for that much? Maybe a couple of hours if that? That's not 5-levels worth again. Maybe if you were more specific, the result would be better? Like if you didn't say, build be an open-world game where you fight monsters, collect numerous items to craft, and explore 5 different biomes. Maybe the result might be better? I know I said that I would go with your same ranks, but now that I think about it, I think the third one is by far the most annoying, lol. So I would go, 1, 2, 3. Yeah, for 400, it would have been a lot better. I would have been pissed.
the 400$ game would come with legal issues. since the dev just used investor template and synty models, if you get the source code, you don't have the rights to the synty models. uness you buy em $50 for synty models, 60$ for investor. and it could of been put together in a couple of hours.... for 400$ that's a HUGE rip off.

long story short: it never worth to pay a random guy to make a game for you that you can sell. If it would be really profitable for them, they would just sell their games as their own on Steam or on the Google play store. But also looking at this video which has 270K views, it's still worth it for you in the long run anyway. Also it's hard to decide whether the game developer spent literally days to make your game and maybe it's still looks bad, but all his work are honest and unique, because he made all the assets, scripts by himself, or someone who just used some flipped assets from unity store and haven't even changed anything on them.
