Thanks Rosel, bought one today. Gonna try it out this week!!

I have had my Big Easy Cooker since 2007, Preach On Brother, Don’t get no BETTER
I know right, they had us in mind when they invented them. One of the best finds of my cooking life. I have 3 of them that's how much i love it.
Have used this for several years now and love the mess free operation not to leave out the great tasting food it produces
Exactly how I feel. "Easy" just like the name implies. Thanks for watching
I have had mine for a couple of years, use it a bunch along with my Weber ! Roasted my #18 turkey for Thanksgiving ...DELISIOUS !
They take all the hassle out of cooking and make a delicious bird and side dishes as well. Glad everything turned out well. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
Thank You!!! I just got one today. I look forward t using it and learning how to cook on The Big Easy
Today is the day to shine hope you putting it to good use. Thanks for watching
One thing I added to mine was a gauge for my propane tank.🙂👍
Here's a tip: I like to throw some bacon, cut up link or pan sausage appetizers pieces on the top racks so that the juice runs down onto whatever I have underneath the rack. I'll roll up the bacon loosely and it kind of looks like a rose when it's done.
Absolutely I have a couple of older video's where I take a similar approach. One of my philosophies is everything taste better with bacon on it lol. Thanks for the comment and be sure to stay tuned for more great content.
Thanks for the information Rosel!!!
My pleasure
Rosel my Bruddah, I hadn't even heard of one of these beauties until this morning on our Hawaii news channel where they have a segment which is sponsored by Hawaii Propane. I had one ordered within an hour on Amazon with the 7 piece accessory kit and cover for $147 delivered to my Big Island of Hawaii within 6 days. I thought they were something so new that no wonder my local Home Depot who is a dealer of Char Broil didn't even have them until I saw this great video. Thank you so much for your great helpful video and look forward to see your cooking ones. I cannot wait to get mine! Aloha, Paul
Paul you are not alone there are so many people who have never heard of an oil-less turkey fryer. There is rarely a week that goes by i don't use mine to cook breakfast lunch or dinner. I have a feeling you are going to love it. As soon as you get it, unbox it, season it, and cook your first meal in it be sure to let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching Paul Aloha!
Good advice rosel.

Genius my Brother. Thank you for sharing.

I picked mine up at the local Goodwill for 15 bucks brand new. My best buy ever. This thing is incredible. Tomorrow I'm cooking two 12 pound turkeys for Thanksgiving. One Creole Garlic Butter injected, and one plain butter and herb for those who don't like to spice things up.
Who needs those Big Box stores when you can deals like that, I love it. Both those birds are going to turn out perfect especially the creole garlic butter lol. Let me know how the family enjoys them Happy Thanksgiving

This video is 3 years old, and you were hoping to get 100 subscribers. Here you are, Thanksgiving 2022, with 5.3K subscribers. Here's to continued growth of your channel! I started watching you when I got a Hot Logic. Now I'm binge-watching the Big Easy videos before I unbox mine. It was on sale at Fred Meyer/Kroger for $99. 👍

Picked up one of those smoker tubes you put up on here, works like a champ! Did Dr Pepper ribs in the big easy with it!
Awesome glad to hear it, Dr. Pepper ribs I might have to give those a try.
@@roselsimpson858 they're super easy to do, let me know and I can shoot you a recipe to tinker with!
@@chefcaanen awesome sounds good i will hit you up for that recipe real soon
Same problem with mine. I just use a lighter in the hole on side. But cooks rib racks and turkeys to perfection. Love my big easy
Yep I used a lighter the 1st couple of times but I use my Big Easy so often I had to replace the ignitor, my co-worker suggested it and I went to Lowes that day. Love mine as well Thanks for watching
Just ordered the big easy fryer cant wait to use it
You are going to love it, if you want to take it for a test drive season it, then cook a chicken or Cornish hen in it first. Let me know how it works out and if you love it or not. Thanks for watching
@@roselsimpson858 sounds good, will do. I just got it Friday and I will season it today
I used it for the first time on Thanksgiving and I tell you what, that bird came out so good. Nice and juicy. I'm impressed with this fryer. Next I'm going to try a prime rib.
I just bought one. Haven't used it yet but, I haven't heard anything bad about them. This tip may come in handy though.
Congratulations I think you are going to love it. I have an entire playlist for the Big Easy check out some of my other videos for hacks, recipes, maintenance and more. Thanks for watching and be sure to stay tuned for future updates coming soon.

Wow I’m jumping on the bandwagon late, at the time of posting you were hoping to reach 100 subscriptions you have almost 34 times over that amount in less than 3 years. I mistakenly stumbled on your channel I selected to play one of your videos I picked up my phone placed it in my pocket a few moments later I hear your voice coming from my jeans you have a great voice almost a divine like quality that commands listening to and being a devout C & E Christian (Christmas and Easter Christian) I Immediately gave you a subscription
Wow that is one of the best complements I have ever received. Yes thanks to people like yourself the channel has come a long way. Glad you stumbled in, stick around we have a lot of good stuff on the way!
Nice tip, TFS!!
It was my pleasure, thanks for watching
You on the radio boss? Think we talked once before during skip... Lol.. Anyways thinking of getting me one of these this season.. Thanks for your time
Yes They call me Stickman the Big Man in the B.Y.U. Don't hesitate get you one. I am going to be dropping new Big Easy video's starting next week. Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching stay tuned more great content on the way.
hey thank you
No problem my pleasure
I've had two still using my second one, just cooked a turkey Wednesday night.
And I bet it was delicious. If you watch the channel you know I now own 3. The Big Easy is the only way to go
I love them have two but had something happen to one that made it a little less easy to use. Was taking it to some friends and somehow broke the tab where the wire from the igniter goes off. I know crazy still not sure how it happened. So now have to use one of the Bic sticks to light it.
Not sure how that could have happened either, I am sure there is a fix but if the lighter works keep using it. Often times that is the easiest way to go. Thanks for watching and stay tuned more good stuff on the way
Just got me one hope it works for my turkey
It will, just trust the process!
@@roselsimpson858 yes sir. Turned out amazing my brother! Happy I watched your channel got it right !! Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving love and respect God bless you and that fam!🤙🤙
Would you do a video on different things you can cook and recipes in the big easy
I have a big easy Playlist with some cooking involved but yes a video dedicated to big easy recipes sounds like a good idea
First off I appreciate the tips and trick with the Big Easy. I have a question about the top grate? I've been checking the Char Broil site and can not see this top grill grate you used to cook your steaks? How can I find this grate? The one used to insert within the top slots of fryer?
Here is the link to The bunk bed basket amzn.to/2VxrFf1
If you are referring to the grill grate I got that from Lowes the top of the big easy measures 13 inches so I simple purchased a 13 or 14 inch BBQ grill grate. Hope that helps let me know. Thanks for watching
Uses his fryer 3 to 4 times a week!!! Lawd What in the world are you cooking?LOL What else can you cooking this you have me intrigued
Lol check some of my other vids I've cooked poppers, hamburgers, hotdogs, soups and sauces in my Dutch oven even breakfast . Never let a good tool rest!!!
Verne Troyers channel brought me here. New sub here as well 🤗
About how much do these cost?
I am so sorry I missed your comment, if you don't already have one check out my video from last week, $89.00 dollars at Academy. Once again I apologize but this is the perfect time to purchase one. If you get one let me know how it turns out. Thanks for commenting and Thanks for watching Happy Holidays
I love mine also, only it doesn't cook food anymore. I filled the cavity between.the she'll and basket with ceramic fiber insulation and added 6 inches of alumin silicate fire brick bellow, tossed the stock burner and regulator and replaced an adjustable regulator, forced air blower fed burner with a custom sized office, works awesome for cooking carbon nitride, it was the only thing that saved it from drop box. I hated what it did jo a perfectly to good turkey. That's not what I consider fried. It's more like microwaved bread
So you repurposed your Big Easy. Carbon Nitride is expensive so I guess you can say that the Big Easy is still paying for itself. Thanks for sharing stay tuned for more good content.
I want know what you're cooking in The Big Easy. 4 to 5 times a week! It must be delicious.
My favorite thing to cook is my seafood and sausage bowls, then there is fish, chicken, hot dogs, asparagus, mushrooms, poppers and I just cooked one of the best steaks ever, the list is quit long. Stay tuned much more Big easy, Hot Logic, George Foreman content on the way. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Rosel. Do you find the legs on the Big Easy bendy, flimsy? Did you brace' em up?
No not flimsy at all similar to frying
I just Revisited my response you were talking about the Big easy legs lol yes you have to be careful not to slide it around to aggressively you need to pick it up when moving...i apologize
Am new to it have you done ham plus can you smoke with it?
No I have not done a ham but I do have a video where I used a smoke tube to create smoke not a lot of smoke but some
I find they don't cook evenly? Have you had this issue? I've checked my burner and the fire is ignited all the way around. Not sure why I'm having this issue. For instance, on Thanksgiving this year I had to spin my turnkey a few times to get the bird to the correct internal temp.
Yes I have had the same problem. I can't really explain it. A flame is coming from every hole every hole is evenly spaced. I do what you do about every 15 minutes I rotate the bird. Thanks for your comment keep watching if I learn anything more I will update.
My father just bought me one, do I need to season it as if you would for a new grill?? Thank you.
Yes just as a precaution I would hook up the propane and turn her on for about 15 to 20 minutes just to burn off any impurities that might be on it from the manufacturing process. I am coming out with a new vid in a few days for new and old owners and some things to look out for this Thanksgiving
@@roselsimpson858 at appreciate the responand tips!
Imma start to season it and get it ready for Thanksgiving
Can you show us how you use it to fry a whole turkey?
Sure, Checkout my Thanksgiving turkey video from last year it is in the "Everything you need to know about the Big easy Turkey fryer" playlist. Thanks for watching and commenting ua-cam.com/video/7HF9QmeNJrQ/v-deo.html
Trying to get to 100 subs! Dam man, got over 3k now!
Thanks for vid.
My pleasure, keep posting keep pushing
Thought about a natural gas conversion?
Honestly i haven't considered natural gas. if you already have natural gas running to your home it might make it easier than changing out a tank. We would have to contact the manufacturer about that. Interesting Question
Since there is no oil, do you have tips to keep the turkey, chicken etc from getting too dry? I have 2 of these also. Have only cooked chickens in them. First couple of times the meat was kind of dry. Any suggestions, tips, or videos? Thanks! 🙂
Hello Mary and welcome, I have had a bird go dry from cooking it too long so until you get the eagle cooking eye (lol) make sure you are using a thermometer and reaching an internal temp of 165. You might also try brining your bird with a salt water brine. Lastly are you cooking with or without the lid, I start without the lid and put it on around the final 10 minutes. It has holes but it still reflects heat and cases the bird to cook faster. Hopefully this helps let me know if not we will keep trying until we get it perfect.
@@roselsimpson858 thank you for the excellent tips🙂
Can you provide the big easy model and the push button igniter model numbers?
I am going to have to research the ignitor number, I purchased mine from Lowes I am sure if you explain it one of the associates will be more than happy to help you locate it.
Thanks. Planning on picking one up today. Appears Lowe’s has an old and new model. Sometimes the older model is better made. I’ll also look for that push button igniter as well.
Ever do French fries in the big easy
Yes but they require at lot of work. I used my fish basket and they have to be turned and separated often but if you are passionate it works. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more great content
Ill guess the ignitor fails because they are left out in the weather?
I sometimes neglect my cookware but in this case no it happened 6 months after purchase. It stayed in my shed or on the back deck They live outside now because my shed got destroyed in the 1st hurricane we had here in Louisiana
How is this really different than a grill though? Seems like just a smaller version of a grill. I thought the point of a fryer was that you can fry the turkey/chicken in oil, which is totally different than grilling. I’m still on the fence between this and a Butterball oil fryer. Please advise, thanks!
First and foremost it uses infrared it's basically heat circulating the meat it comes out juicy and moist without adding grease making it's much healthier. Secondly you pay $100.00 dollars for the unit and you are done other than the occasional propane fill up, no expensive oils. Third you season the Turkey put it in the Big easy and walk away you come back 90 minutes later check the temp and if it's 165 to 170 its time to eat.
Rosel Simpson Sounds good, thank you for the quick and helpful reply.
@@cuzzin86 no problem, I don't get anything for promoting the Big Easy I sincerely love how easy it is to use...Thanks for watching and good luck
If I say that you're wrong about this way of cooking a turkey, will you come over & cook one for me? You know, just to prove me wrong! ;-) Thanks for the vid!!
Reversed phycology I love it...lol. You are very welcome stay tuned for more good content
I've been reading these machines are simple and nice to have but turkeys lack moisture and flavor. Is this true? How would you rate a Turkey in this as opposed to oven baking??
I'll be honest sitting in the juices in an oven is hard to beat if you put in the work basting and all. The Big easy is a close 2nd it requires very little work, doesn't tie up the stove, it does leave the bird tender and juicy, and you get to have an excuse to be outside. That's all hard to beat in my opinion.
@@roselsimpson858 outside part is the best. 🍺🍺 I'm on the golf coast in Florida so this time of the year is perfect for outside. I bought one today. Doing a dry run on a Turkey tonight. Thanks for the reply 😎
I thought you were gonna mention that basket it comes with. that thing is un-genius
Un-genius as in simple, they could have put a little more thought into it but wheres the extra sales in that lol
Let's figure out how to convert these CharBroil Oiless Fryers from Propane to Natural Gas. I love mine, but the unavailability and/or difficult and inconvenience of trying to get Propane is a pain in the you know what!!
I talked to by buddy Keith the guy who turned me on to the ignitor fix and he doesn't think it can be done. Propane is easily accessible for me especially now that I have ace hardware moments away. Most of us in this area don't have the ability to get natural gas so it wouldn't work for us if we could find a solution. I know that's not the answer you wanted, sorry.
Hi. Just bought a big easy at a thrift store. It is new amd never been used!
My question is, the round metal pan that the wire basket sets in doesn't seem to set in the unit right. It wobbles around, I tried to take it out, but it won't lift out!
I would need to see a picture or vid but If it is not seated correctly all the way around it must be bent slightly, but that is not a game stopper. You can still use it, as is if you find you need to adjust it I would suggest placing a towel over the bent area and use a small hammer to adjust it.
@@roselsimpson858 yes sir. I will get a pic to you. It doesn't seem to be bent.
@@roselsimpson858 well yay.... I fixed it. I tool off that silver rim and took the tub out. Some how it got under the rim. When I put the rim back on the tub fit perfectly back in. Can hardly wait to use it. I figure 40$ was an awesome price.......
@@vickitaylor9750 $40 You stole it and you fixed it yourself i can see you smiling from here, awesome let me know how you 1st cook turns out!!!
@@roselsimpson858 Yes sir, I sure will...
I just use my lighter as I'm having a bowl i also 💖 mine
I used a lighter for the 1st couple of times but when I told my co-worker and he suggested the ignitor button I went for it especially when I use mine 3 to 4 times per week. Thanks for watching
What about smoking fish in the Big Easy ?
There are a couple of ways to cook fish using the Big Easy but neither will leave you that smoke flavor, one is using aluminum foil wrap or aluminum bowl the other is with a fish rack. Standby i am doing a vid using the rack in a few weeks. Checkout my seafood bowl vid it might be of help for now.
Im looking at buying one for $60 on market place
60 bucks is a good price if it is in good condition. If you have been around the channel for a while you know how much I love and use my big easys. keep us updated if you get it and let us know how you like it. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more updates and great content.
Bun B is it u, looking buff?
Thanks but that was a while ago I have transitioned somewhat since then lol
Have you done ribs in it yet ?
Yes I have. There is an older rib video in my playlist somewhere. If I remember correctly I used hooks and hung them on the sides of the big Easy. The Ribs cooked faster than I thought they would. I might have to do a new rib video it's been several years.
Man you been cooking 5 turkeys a week?!
Not 5 Turkeys but everything else you can think of. Seafood bowls, potatoes, asparagus, fish and so much more. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more updates!
I had to get a second also, but my first went to the ex. She wanted that more than me lol smh🤨
Dang she really likes the way the big easy prepares her meat.....
Be quiet and cook a turkey😅. Just kidding. I just about bought one of these last winter, and totally regret not getting one.
It's never too late i use mine almost on a daily bases. i'm am not kidding you it is cooking chicken legs as we speak. Pull the trigger and get yourself one
My man clean your equipment it last longer and requires less maintenance.
