Friends, Christ is the King of all things. His rule is characterized not by totalitarianism or despotism, but rather by loving kindness and sacrifice. He constantly reaches out his hands to defend the weak and sick, going to the limits of godforsakenness to bring back those who have wandered. We can cooperate with our King by being his ministers of mercy to the world.

Faith is all I have left. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. Jesus give me guidance please. The devil is attacking me. These past three years have been difficult on me. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them. People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and still battling lupus. Give me strength Lord as I constantly struggle to pay bills and constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. BUT no matter what I face I will KEEP FAITH. Even though the devil wants me to give up. I will not! Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.
Yeah, sorry to hear.. where and how is the church helping you? You might able to sign up for respite care from state agencies.., I don’t know. But bf I was Catholic... I was Beachy Amish and you would not be alone in raising your family. Your husband might not want to live with you but in my old church our men would go over and have a chat with him about how he intents to father. If your husband has die, I’m sorry for your loss, but in my old church we’d let you know which man or young or old men could help role model male maturity-take your kids hunting , fishing, work on the car so forth. Turn to your parish and if no resources... 1st, that’s. Shame and second look at switching parishes. Your situation I taken to prayer. Blessing to you

This is fake beggar account.
I've seen this account beg for money on hundreds of Christian UA-cam videos. It's been years. The story never changes. They prey on kindhearted christians. Lord have mercy on who ever is behind the account and taking advantage of kind folks.
I just want to take a second to say what an inspiration you are. People who are putting you down do so in service to the enemy- likely without mal-intent, but as they struggle with their own demons they do not want to see a shining example of strength in service to Christ the King. Bless you!
The 1st thing to do is speak to your priest. No other institution is more generous than the Catholic Church. It's awkward to ask for help; but, your priest is the best guidance. He will direct you to the correct people and organization for you.

I refer to myself as a born again Catholic. For me that means that I grew up in the faith & practiced through faith. As an adult I was challenged by our religious liberties being at risk here in the US. It was then I decided to take up arms for my Catholic faith & learn the truth about her so I could defend her. The FIRST person Our Lord put on my path was Bishop Barron & his dvd series on Catholicism! I have NEVER been the same !! 🔥 ❤ May God be Praised !! Now & Forever!!!
Bishop Barron offers so much good food for thought, especially with the litany of human needs as an examination of conscience for us. Since we share in Christ's mission as King, it would only make sense that God would call us to participate in the shepherding that Christ does as King, as His hands and feet. It's masterful how this homily shows how the Old Testament reading from Ezekiel is fulfilled in Christ, Who is truly the Good Shepherd. He is a King Who accompanies His people, and we are called to be in tandem with His work. Christus vincit! Christus regnat! Christus imperat!
Bishop Barron…you are blessed beyond measure. A wonderful most important evangelist for our time.

Hi Bishop Barron: When Jesus says, "I will gather my sheep. My sheep know me" Jesus is also saying that TRUTH AND LOVE ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE.....for Jesus' law is to love and His Truth IS Jesus. So when He says, He will gather His sheep, He is saying that He loves us AND He is the WAY. TRUTH AND LOVE -- ALWAYS TOGETHER.

Your sermon today made me realize that although I am trying to live the life Jesus calls us to live , I fall short at times because I fail to see / act lovingly towards those I meet daily who are hungry for so many things…a kind word, a moment of my time, a loving smile. The gospel today from Matthew gives us opportunity to reflect upon the more we could be doing…I could be doing for Jesus and my brothers and sisters.
The Church is so far beyond a mere social service agency.

I love the Solemnity of Christ the King. I find this time of year rather gloomy generally as it concentrates on death [which is right to have a time to pray for the Holy Souls] but this is a joyful festival [although with a very serious Gospel Message] in the middle of sorrow. A fitting end to the Liturgical Year before we start Advent next week.

I am always so grateful that you specifically mention Christ the King on this great feast. Rarely in all my years have I heard this actually mentioned on this day during a homily and it breaks my heart. I am also so grateful that you can break open the Word of God with such wisdom and understanding. We desperately need this type of formation for all of us but, in a special way, for our priests.
