- Today is the Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time; in the gospel, Saint Mark recounts a familiar scene where the townspeople of Jesus were astonished by his teaching and “mighty deeds.”
“Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” they asked while taking offense at him. And because of “their lack of faith,” Jesus was unable to “perform any mighty deed there.”
This scene shows how his townspeople perceived Jesus. They could not believe that one among them could preach with authority and whose hands could produce good works. Do we also feel the same towards people who are familiar with us? We also behold the mystery of the weakness and helplessness of Jesus, the one sent by the Father.

They are not sent as weak because they are empowered to perform mighty deeds to people who found favor with God.They are strong in the kingdom of god on earth.
This gospel should be interpreted as a wake up call of the world that nowadays the world is in the same situation or status as the people in the home place of the lord Jesus Christ.Nowadays no mighty deeds is being performed in spite of christians' offerings
Sent as weak perfectly reversed the purview of this gospel.The people of Jesus" home place we're astonished of his power.Unfortunately he cannot unleashed his power to People whose lack of faith amazed him.
Lord Jesus Christ, you are the fulfillment of all our hopes and desires. Your Spirit brings grace, truth, freedom, and abundant life. Set my heart on fire with your love and truth. Amen.
Oh lord how can man be convinced that Jesus Christ and his disciples are the men you sent as the strongest in the world because they are the men who found favor with God
This gospel proclaimed that community that lacks faith and are happy dancing with the devil and are happy seeking Fortune under the kingdom of Satan, no mighty deeds can Jesus perform among them.Let us ponder over this message because nowadays no mighty deeds are ever done in our community.
I am tormented because I feel that even the cardinal dance in the tune of the devil

This gospel proclaimed that we must reconsider our way of exposing the word in order that christians will not have lack of faith that the word was God
Sent as weak is not word exposed, sent as weak is word of command hidden in the darkness
This gospel preach people to establish a community where the missioners sent by God can perform mighty deeds because such community does not lack faith
Did we find favor with God with the way we made the seeds grow in the world?
Sent as weak makes a community similar to the people in Jesus home place where the strong men sent by God are not able to perform mighty deeds
Jesus and his disciples are strong.They are sent by God because they found found favor with God thereby making them perform impossible deeds.Inspite of their mighty deeds humanity do not observe their words of command.Humanity continue to dance with the devil in the kingdom of Satan.
Jesus was not able to perform mighty deeds because people in his home place lack faith cannot be a sign that is sent as weak
Making mysteries of faith in the guise of exposing the word makes the transfigured word incarnate black as a pitch
Those sent by God are the strongest in the kingdom of god as it is in heaven but weak in the kingdom of satan on earth
The men who perform impossible deeds and miraculous deeds are proclaimed to have been sent as weak.May be in the kingdom of Satan on earth they are weak but in the kingdom of god on earth they the strongest
What is the sense of purpose of describing the weakness of any missioners?.Will it enable baptized christians to observe all his commandments?
Is our interpretation of the word consonant or in accord with the wisdom of the lord Jesus Christ?
Sent as weak completely reversed the intent and purpose of this gospel.The intent and purpose of this gospel is spelled in the proclamation that Jesus Christ was not able to do mighty deeds in his home place because he was amazed of their lack of faith.
Humanity nowadays conclude that Jesus Christ and his disciples are sent weak because humanity are overwhelmed by the kingdom of Satan thereby making them dance with the devil and seek their fortune and luck therein.
Jesus was not able to perform mighty deeds in his homeplace because he was amazed of their lack of faith.Catholic missioners should think things over.Is the world nowadays in the same circumstance as Jesus Christ"s homeplace then?
The world is governed by two kingdoms namely : the kingdom of God as it is in heaven and the kingdom of Satan as it is in the netherworld.Unfortunately many are deceived to dance with the devil whereby many seeks their fortune under the kingdom of Satan because they are made to believe that Jesus and his disciples are sent as weak.
The strongest men on earth are those who found favor with God thereby making them perform the impossible, miracles.Nowadays man can hardly receive miraculous deeds except some deeds of pretenders like the one who claims "pinatigiil ko na Ang lindol....."
Sent as weak reversed the meaning of this gospel.The true meaning of this gospel is that Jesus is endowed with the strongest power that should not be unleashed in a community that dances and looking for fortune with the devil.
Why should christians be made to believe that Christ and disciples are sent as weak when nothing is impossible with them because they found favor with God
This gospel make the seeds grow which ordained man to find favor with God to be strong because Jesus was not able to perform mighty deeds in his home place because he was amazed of their lack of faith
