- When we constantly chase worldly desires such as fame, money, relationship, etc. We lose sight of the present moment. This moment is where true happiness is found.

You don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone
That's me right now. I have everything in life that I could have ever wanted, financially stable, healthy relationship, healthy family, freedom and time.
Yet I feel sad, almost depressed.
And I am always thinking of the next thing, next hobby, that will truly make me happy.
But it never will ...
And there are only two ways out:
1) I can start valuing all that I have, and quit the sadness
or
2) God will take the granted away from me
I wish you, the reader, to be strong, to overcome this "chasing" 🌸
Brilliant advice. Thanks man this really changed my whole life.
Thanks Evan
Godbless
Be present mentally and emotionally.
I had some what of the exact same talk in my head when driving early today and then I see this video. Very strange but yes I agree with you
So grateful I found your channel, it is jam-packed with wisdom and insight, and seems to be so relevant to what I am experiencing at any given time. Ultimately, the things we are told by society to pursue (whether explicitly or implicitly) hold little to no value whatsoever. External validation, career success, our 'other half', stuff...they serve to adorn the ego and take us further from lasting happiness and inner peace.
Fame : I don’t care and don’t need too
Relationships : I don’t care and do need too !
Money : Yes 😂😂 but Anyone who says he/she does not need money in his/her life is a liar ! 😂😂 Unless the person is a monk or nun . . .
Money is necessary because 99% of our problems are solved by it ! After, each person to find its limits on what it still needs or not ! And you can’t say what it is the limit for that person because it’s up to everyone to know their own needs for their life !
Actually, only the now exists anyway. Everything else is an illusion. And yes: Something is never right for people. If you have one million, you want the second. Happiness doesn't lie on the outside anyway...
Of course you will feel miserable if the goal is too hard. Pick your demon. In the end the demon can be handled with skill.
