I have a rule that demands to make at least one Spuffy edit per year. And since I wanted to edit with this song forever, I finally found some inspiration.
Sadly the song seems to be blocked in a LOT of countries according to the music library. This is why I pitched it a lot. In case it gets blocked and won't change in a few days, I will re-upload it with an even more pitched version. It's just that I don't want to change the song because - as snobby as this might sound - I REALLY like this edit for once and want to keep it all. :/ But let's see how things turn out. xP

Whedon be blessed that he decided not to kill off Spike after a few episodes like he originally planned. Else we would have missed so much! Spike is such a great character. 🙂

I've watched this at least about 30 times. Sometimes I would just watch it over and over and over. And I cry everytime. You gave such a heartbreaking and tragic end of a story, a beautiful and accepting end. Instead of him dying. I saw her tell him that she lives him and saw there love burn eternally in the flame that consumed their hands. Then that ending. He didnt die. They kissed and everyone accepted them. Your editing is so beautifully put together and my heart just burned for them. Thank you so much ! This really is amazing.

Yeah, definitely, although I would add season 7 as well: Spike feels so complete in season 7-- he's come full circle and is completely evolved to the point of being genuinely CALM. A true testament to the demon and the human soul functioning in perfect symbiosis. ❤

I'm crying now this feels so real like an official tribute. You editing is amazing. You see thiese very little details and put them together to a masterpiece like the cigarette part for instance. But what makes it really special for me are the sound effects you kept in - not just some dialogues between them. This makes it vivid like a flashback. I love how you made the scooby gang cheer for them. Gosh, they deserved it. With this, you tell an alternative story that should have been told a long time ago. Thank you!

I'd love to see a V/E version made by you! The song would suit them perfectly! About the pitch shift, I don't mind to pitch things as long as I don't have to use a cover, even though there are some covers to certain songs which are beautiful. Currently it's only blocked in two regions of Italy. I wished this would not be but it's better than those 232 countries YT library said it was blocked. So... I guess I can be happy with that. 🤣

Si è decisa quando si è resa conto che non "erano così diversi tra loro" come lei pensava... Entrambi sono "morti e tornati in vita".... Woooooow! I'm amazed! Your scene choices and editing are just perfect! I love, how you cut the scenes and put it together! It's so extremely intense, that I can't even describe! I love these scenes so much! And with that song! I love that song so much!!! I thought about vidding it, too. I'll might once. Tho my SV is not working, and the files are MP4, tho, but someone once wrote under a video, that when she/he got SV12, like me now, they had to convert everything to MP4. And maybe I should do the same, but I don't have patience to do it. Especially because that's might be not the problem. Cuz I had almost the same problems, before, too, when I had 11 and it just went wrong somehow, and I couldn't fix it in no way. I thought about trying a new program, like some people recommended, but I'm afraid that I should convert everything in that case, too. Tho I have no idea.
Anyway, I miss editing, especially after seeing such masterpieces, like this one!

The crazy thing about this show is ... I aam always rooting for Buffy with Spike. I didnt even feel anything when he was still a bad villain in the first season, but the transitions make me like him so much. From he was the poor Willliam, then such a deadly evil William the blooody, and then souled Spike. There were a lot of wrong things about him but still I can't ignore him..

Same! Spike never appeared like some cruel villain, even if he made some questionable things (and he did, truly). But his character development probably made him into one of the best characters in a tv show ever. And his moments with Buffy were always so interesting. :)
This is STUNNING. I love this song (will keep in mind about pitching like crazy myself when I use it) and want to make a multifandom to it. My inspiration took a bit of a hit due to real life craziness and a nasty cold that's taken a while to get over; but I'm hoping to get back in the creative groove real soon ;)

I usually tend to end Spuffy edits with a sad note but at that day I just couldn't put Spike's death as an ending. And so I decided make a happier ending with the Scoobie Gang all cheering for them. 😃

This video is amazing! Your editing, your cuts, are fantastic! You do a great job of telling a story in this video. Love your ending! Spuffy is my OTP! I've been reading Spuffy fan-fic for over 15 years, and re-watch probably once a year. As awful as the comics were, at least Spuffy came out of the closet and were accepted as a couple (tho the ending/S12 comics were extremely rushed, a literal cop-out, like Joss had just gotten tired of the whole Buffy thing, just involved to move on from it. Honestly, the comics & Spuffy were doing better before Joss came along for S12 books to wrap things up & break Spuffy up!). And the new Boom BtVS comics are awful! Horrible art, most of the time, and a a horrid mish-mash of the original stories & premises! Drusilla as "The Mistress"... Dru who literally could barely normally feed herself?! It's apologist fic, glossing over the controversial subjects like sexuality, vamps representative of sex, & violence & ID, domestic violence, ideation, for instance; and the writers have seemed to either forget, or they never understood that BtVS was supposed to be representing the drama of teenage years with literal monsters & horrors...

*The second part of the name of that fabulous site comes from where Buffy call Spike her dark solace (referring back to season 6, nothing dark about there later comic seasons relationship anymore), which is ironic seeing as most of the writers and readers aren't exactly keen on the comics.
