Buffy never deserved Spike! She treated him like dirt when he loved her so much! Spike deserved someone who loved him as much as he loved her!
Oh, you're spot on in that regard; it is amazing how few realize just how dysfunctional their relationship really is and was.
Neither character is truly good, not by a long-shot; she for her part is literally his mistress- as in slavery- and he's profoundly dysfunctional about romance. At least he has a cause for that: as a vampire he's a minion of the evil one, and so he's literally all messed up in the head.
Um whattt he tried to SA her. Their whole thing is ick.
@@prettywittybittypwb7308 Oh, it really was sick; their whole thing was diametrically disordered- as is any relationship rooted in lust. Plus, they both did that to eachother.
In Season 6, yes, but in Season 7 she respects him.

@@codieguglielmin3273 They were really strange, but they worked well together, but at the same time they had a lot of baggage.
The first time of Buffy ended with Angel losing his soul and becaming a complete asshole and murder.
She was dead and in heaven and was taken back to the bloody life in Earth. And she had to pretend that she wasn't heavily depressed.
She couln't connected with her friends, but she could connect with Spike somebody that was useful and scary because he was so similar and so different from Angel (how lied to her so many times) and that scared her. He never hid that he was a vampire, he enjoyed it, he enjoyed the fight, he could love without a soul, without a soul Angel was a predator, that only wanted to harm her. (Funny fact Angel was scared from slayers, Spike wasn't and in their first battle he almost killed her)
Spike had to kill his mother, he couldn't protect Dru from her sire, Angelus and he almost lost her in Prague. And she abandoned him because he betrayed them.
And there's the fact that she used him, even she was abusive, but he got it like foreplaying, but it wasn't it was just like he said to her in "Never Leave me".
