Julie Bruce I always sit down! My hair is so dense that it takes several minutes to diffuse my curls. Plus just had hip surgery so diffusing is even harder right now.
I used the products last night and love them. I have natural curly hair but have straightened it for so long that I was losing my curl. But used the products and plopped my hair on my head last night and it was so much better this morning. Mine seems to go flat at the top during the day so I am watching it to see if that happens. I would love a video on clarifying. I think my hair needs it. May help with the curls too.

okay you convinced me, im gonna try plopping again. salonists tell me that i have a lot of hair but each strand is thin! :( so volume can be difficult. i do about everything else (except dry shampoo which ill try). but ill plop next washday :)

Your color is still looking fabulous! Is a finishing spray the same as hairspray? Because I have a problem with keeping the hair nice and pumped up after I use my pick. It always falls flat I'm thinking I need a hairspray. Also do you like the Garnier smoothie better then the jellie?
Yes ma’am :) finishing spray is the same but usually has less hold. I like the texture spray because it adds volume with the texture while giving a bit of gold to the hair as well :) and I like both!!! The jelly is good for hold and the smoothie is light and great for defining :)
I’m about 6 weeks into the CGM.....the back of my head just won’t curl! It’s more a 2b/c when my sides and front is curly like yours. Will this correct over time? Do I just need patience, or is this normal? Maybe, Is this because I’ve worn it in tight buns for so long? I had to wear a neck brace for the last five months, smushing my hair back there. Thanks.
Definitely have patience. It’s such a process when you transition. It may be those pieces will need to be trimmed but baby times the curl pattern will return with lots of TLC :)

I have been wearing my hair parted on the right side since 1985. I am working on this step :) Old habits die hard, Girl.

If it specifically says clarifying shampoo then I’d say yes but a regular shampoo isn’t going to get the job done completely :)

Fluffing really helps my hair get volume, but it also gets really frizzy. How do you combat that?

Maybe don’t scrunch those pieces as much before plopping. Focus the scrunching on the areas you want to be curlier :)
