- In this short video I’ll show you how to create cyberpunk style sci-fi holographic animated material
We will take a look at how to create material animation and also how to create texture that will allow you to switch between different text at any time.

Hey! This material was inspired by Cyberpunk 2077. Have you ever seen animated holographic lines in a similar style in other games?
ua-cam.com/video/EC8tTkvGqm8/v-deo.html Can you tell me how this can be added to the unreal engine called Anyama and these two can tell me how to add it?
Another thing you could add that would really drive home the hologram look is to use the red channel of you texture as a height map for POM, creating a really neat 3d effect.
Short yet Detailed, love it
Short, simple and effective! The perfect tutorials! Keep up the good work!
This was an amazing tutorial especially being creative with trim sheets! i learned so much thank you😊
Keep up the great work! Clever trick with the lerp node into opacity!
Can you make a tutorial making the model and uv stuff?
Update:
Please make this tut.
Great stuff, Nikolay. ThankU!
Thank you! This is extremely informative.
This was such an amazing tutorial !!
The video itself is very well produced. Very like it!
Amazing tutorial, thanks!
Thank you, I needed this 😊😊
Wow really great!
Simple and easy to understand
You have earned a new sub. keep bringing more I like tips and tricks for whenever I need them. I like watching videos like these while I am at work
Keep Up amazing Tip
pretty cool thank you
sei un genio / you're a genius
Cool.. More UE fx material please!
Would it be possible to use a video in place of the static UV texture? Would love to know how that could be achieved. Awesome walkthrough - thanks!
wow
can you also explain what each data types do
it just amazing .wait ! can we do RGB color to letter or not?
thanks for the tutorial. what I want the texture traveling through the uv's once? I tried to "clamp" instead of "wrap" it in texture settings but I can't get an entire correct loop. Any idea? thaaanks!
We'd love a Patreon ❤
Is there a way to de form attached her like a lattice so it means you can click on one point and it deforms it and you could save that as a input
Thank you for the tutorial! Is this listed on the Unreal Marketplace? How much to purchase the material? 🙏🙏
is there a way we could get your images? i'd love to use your textures, they're so cool!
that works perfectly, could u please tell , how to bring this to sequencer ? i tried animating the speed parameter, but the values are extremely small , one loop happens between 0.000025 to 0.00005 lets say, and if i click render it doesnt work, and if i restart engine , the sequence doesnt work at all, but the panner works in the viewport, i would really appreciate if there is a fix for this
How can you do this with facial expression textures something like Pokémon?
Hey Nikloay. This Tutorial is great. But i have a problem. My material moving also on Z axis and i dont know why. Can you help me?
WHICH FONT DID YOU USE?
5:20 🤜
What did i do wrong if it shows up the full text texture?
I want to update the text? without again going back to texture creation
Amazing, but how could I make it change between the text options in game. do i have to create a blueprint? Or, can it be done in the material?
Hi, thanks! The shown parameter for changing the texture is mainly created for the convenience of working on the level - the speed of changing text, saving memory on textures. To change the texture in the game, in any case, you will have to use a Blueprint.
Help! Here's a question, When you start playing the text faster, the texts or images are going to cast a persistent tail light, those unwanted tails stack on the base texts making the LED display unreadable, How to get rid of them?
Hi! Late answer here! Unfortunately, this is the common problem using lumen. I think It does not have enough time to process a moving texture. If you pay attention to the Cyberpunk 2077, they also have similar issue in their engine. So it seems. the solution here is to not use too fast movement.
How do you UV unwrap specifically to a fraction of the UV map?
Hi! My mesh is 3m in length and 15 cm in height (20:1 ratio)- so when I unwrap it, it covers exactly 1/20 of the UV space
@@nikolayshamaev Thank you very much, I am new to blender so that helps a lot. Great video by the way I apricate it!
Im sorry but i don't understand how you split you're UV mapping
SPLIT TOOL IN PHOTOSHOP WILL DO THE JOB
Ой мне бы шрифт узнать какой использовал ты в этом видео? Подписался, лайк проставил
Hi! Thanks! The font used for the text is "Lato"
Can we can the files to the project?
4 weeks no response, no use even asking.
Would any kind person be in a position to explain the UV Mapping process in Photoshop in a relatively easy way please, as I'm obviously not doing what I should be doing to UV Map Properly, Thank You
I'm not a PS person but I doubt you'd do UV unwrapping in it. You only use Photoshop to create the texture. The UV unwrapping would be done in the modelling software used to create the tripod and the plane that the text is on (particularly the plane). You would use software like Blender to do the unwrapping.

where can i download the textures?
