Nice and thorough video, well done! Soul Blade is definitely worth a look. I do have the original copy, but I'm glad emulation is also an option.
For more technical players, this game didn't have 8-way run yet, there's only this stiff sidestep (decently evasive, but not cancelable with guard and kinda clunky). Some animations are a bit rough, but everything else is fine!
