Based on friend's advice, I ordered this as my first 3d printer. Just opened the box, followed this video, and now %50 done printing my wife her bunny rabbit. My first day into 3d Printing. Very happy so far, but what do I know? (yet).
I’ve been trying to use mine for about a year now and it has not printed a single successful thing
@@vogavationwhat's the common problem with the prints? 3D printing successfully is all about tinkering and tweaking, there is potential for problems in every step of the way, slicers, settings, material, humidity, maintenance, calibration, defective parts, even ambient temperature.
after my ex boss got one for our department I've noticed that the worst mistake that everyone including me made was that everyone just plopped the CAD file in the default slicer with default configuration, loaded it into the machine and expected it to work, it won't, experiment with it, take your time to calibrate it, do simple things first and don't be afraid to ask for help in various 3d printing communities and forums, a lot of people buy a 3d printer to solve a problem, and it works great for solving those problems, but 3d printing is primarily a hobby, so like any hobby you have to learn it first
My first printer as well! So excited to get into this!
11:30 It is VERY unapparent that the thumb pushes in a knob at this point in order to allow filament into the tube. I was struggling, turning the blue cog for a minute, until I looked at another setup video that included it in their steps. This was so confusing, thanks.
OMG thank you for this
100%
Thanks. Link to other video please?
Hadn't noticed this either. I could have damaged the mechanism because I was forcing it through
I uh... Yea same. Except I just twisted the knob until it was all the way through
Just got this printer today and printing my first design. I’m very happy with this device.
FOR VOLTAGE ERUPOEIAN IS 230 AMERICAN IS 115
Thank you for this video, Just received my printer today and I really do better with a video than reading a book! Its all set up and printing the little boat.
I had this weird error that when I tried to preheat the filament it just shut off, If you have this and you live in America then set your voltage (on the back of printer) to 115.
I've just set mine up - the extruder fan is REALLY loud. Is that normal? Can I fix it?
thank you thank you you helped me so much
Is it just me, or did others encounter a problem getting the filament to the printhead?
BTW, it's not obvious in the video that one needs to press on that spring-loaded release to push the filament through. Unfortunately, that is not the cause of my issue. :(
As of writing this note, I still haven't succeeded. When I push the filament through, it immediately pops out on the other side of the stepper motor, instead of going through the teflon tube.
What is the solution?
UPDATE: Because the sample filament is very naturally curved, the "trick" is to straighten out the filament by bending the first couple of centimetres as straight as possible.
Just got my printer and am wondering, do you need to use the knobs to level the bed or does auto leveling do the same thing. Or is it just a good idea to do both.
You should do both of it. The 4 wheels levels the bed, and the autolevel stores the compensations of the inaccurate hand leveling you've done before. This works in 0.01 accuracy, where your hand reaches hardly 0.1
Just got the printer, and the "home all" makes the extruder go to the end of the plateau. Then, auto leveling is kinda in place, does anybody has any idea what it means ?
Please suggest which UPS to be used and the capacity to run it for an hour in an event of power cut.
Had it for two weeks can’t get it leveled been having the hardest time.
Hi, do you think is good idea using smoothers with Ender 3 Vs´2 Neo? Thank for reply
the instruction booklet leaves out the paper distance part, and that was making mine not work, thatnks for the video!
Hello This is my first time using a 3D printer.
Stepper motors are very hot. Is this normal?
From where do you get the ideas of new printers
I've had this printer for almost a year , I've gone thru support , youtubes, and FBs. I still can not get it to set up. When I try setting up my ender3 v2neo no matter what I try to set first... it' goes to " homeing xyz please wait until done"... the extruder moves up @ 2" and down @2" , then a final up about 1 ".. it never probes, it never " gets done". I stay on THAT screen. I have a expensive paper wt!
Oui je vais refaire les réglages encore une fois.... parce que sur la mienne la filament n'adhère pas je me désespère
Why you use leveling function if you use papper before ???
, 2 questions , 1 why offset again after auto bed leveling ? , 2 should the bed not be warmed up before leveling ?
Does the box come with everything we need to assembly like the picture at 0:27 ?
Yes
Anyone else having issues with this printer after few days? I installed this printer yesterday and printed few things, I turned it off and today is not booting. The screen only says Creality but doesn't move forward. I checked and it seems a common issue and the most common solution was to adjust the screw of the thermistor which I did and still not working. I'm extremely disapointed and I already initiated a return with Amazon. Will try with another brand of printer.
Buying from Amazon xD
I’m having to re-level it every time after a print. Any thoughts?
Check how fit your axes are (x, y, x). The belts shouldn’t be too tight, same with the little wheel things. Search up online or watch a different set up video for the printer, they’ll be more in depth with how every belt and screw etc should be eg loose or tight.
Is the Spare nozzle that comes with the ender 3 V2 neo 0.4mm or is it 0.6?
0.4mm
My indication knob has no copper insert and wont install on the motor shaft. Quite frustrating.
I don't think the indicator knob is supposed to have a copper insert. Mind does not and it just slides onto the spindle. Are you sure you're trying to put it in the right place?
Whenever I try to heat up the heating bed, or print my printer shuts off, How do I fix this?
Hey did you ever fix this? I’m having the same issue currently.
What is the brand and model filament that comes with it in the box?
Probably just ender-pla. Their own brand from creality.
Could you send me the rar that's in the SD card? The one I got was corrupted and I can't find it anywhere.
did u ever get the rar>?
What happends on 0:35 ??? I just got the printer and came here just for that part
It seems like a lot of instructions are skipped in this video. The Z-offset seems stuck at 0. How do I get it negative? Thanks!
Are you sure your changing the z-offset and not the “move z” axis?
My bed leveling is not working g it keeps vibrating and hitting the edge
I know this was a year ago but try adjusting the bed belt
I have a question I just got one set it up following the steps on your video and mine takes a long time at the homing XYZ. It says please wait until done does it take a long time like it freezes?
Maybe it’s preheating?
Try a factory reset
how long is a long time?? Mine sez the same thing. No matter what I try to set... even after a reset, it never " gets done"..... Need serious help..
which Voltage setting should we choose? I'm from India
Whatever voltage is in India
230v
can somebody help me with 6:20 I am new to 3d printing and for some reason my 3d printer wont turn on?
Are you using the right voltage in your area? You can search up “*my area* uses 230 or 115 v”. Maybe it’s faulty if that really doesn’t work. Make sure your screen is properly plugged in.
Nothing is moving on my printer what do I do
Plug it in and turn it on.
Check the voltage.
Hi just wondering . im going to buy and ender 3 neo and i have a macbook how would i connect the printer to the computer .
and what software would i use to input models and print them off . thanks i hope this is not to confusing :)
The software you need to use is called a “slicer”. It converts 3D models into a file, usually with the ending .gcode which is just a type of code the printer can understand. You can use the official creality slicer, or I would recommend the Cura slicer by ultimaker. With you MacBook, you can use the included adapter to simply plug in the usb with the microsd in it, and then upload the sliced gcode to that. It then just plugs into the printer and you select and print it. Make sure to watch plenty of videos!
@@tihc1 Thanks i ended up buying the ender 3 v3 se but this will still come in hand . i just started to use cura and its great thanks mate
@@T_Edits393 yeah the v3 se is great for its price. Automatic bed levelling, direct drive extruder, I think it’ll be great. It might not be as open source and customisable as somethjng like an Ender 3 neo or ender 3 v2 neo but if you want something for a great price that just works, go for it! If you need any help with anything 3d printing related at all feel free to reply to this comment or we could even trade socials, I have a tonne of general knowledge and I’m happy to help out :D
@@T_Edits393 also are you an Aussie too? Noticed you used mate lol
@@tihc1 🤣 yeah
Should I be wearing gloves for the assembly?
No just the white sleeves🤣
The homing XYZ is taking long like an hour
What shouls I do?
Figure it out?
Check you put the wires in correctly.
i dont think i understand, what is the right power voltage?
What is the voltage of your country?
@@greensteve9307 dw i got it fixed but still thank you i live in the eu
auto homing moves it slightly then it just gets struck on "homing XYZ" please wait until done.
Same u find out how to fix this?
@@tzvk24 yes, i had the wires plugged in incorrectly, following the instructions more clearly fixed it
@BlueBerryFTW k thanks will give that a go I thought I did. I watched the video twice and then tried.
@@tzvk24 i did too but after following the manual it worked
@BlueBerryFTW I had those cables plugged in backwards. Thanks for pointing that out finally got time to mess with it for a few mins idk how they where plugged in backwards I plugged them in exactly how with the letters that where on it into the right spot guess they put the letters backwards
2:24 my filament wont stick onto the plate
Maybe your z offset is too high, so make sure it’s a paper thickness away. Depending on what you’re printing, that might cause issues too.
why the fuck should you have to get a piece of paper and fuck with a z-axis offset when there's a leveling probe that can sense exactly where the plate is in relation to the nozzle?
0:21
Had it for a week did not print. Not happy with it
We can't help if you tell explain the problem.
Extrudeur 7,5 $ turbo-lol
Sorry, you mean??
@@Creality3Deven I don’t understand it
@@Creality3D neither?
Music is irretating
Да блять! Я два дня всё не правильно делал по вашей видео инструкции!!! SCENE FROM 07:21 to 08:00 NEED TO DELETE FROM VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TABLE FROM STOCK PRINTER VERY LOW FOREVE. 1) NEED TO UP TABLE TO NOZZLE FIRST IN 4 ANGLE TABLE !! AND AFTER 2) START AUTO LEVELING 3) Z-OFFSET !!!
2022 and creality still wouldnt use direct drive?
No wonder why sales flopped
You have to get the S1 if you want the direct drive. Its an extra $79 from the Neo.
@@stephen240 i had it. Sold it.
Thanks for your comment first, Ender 3 Neo series printer is an upgrade based on their previous version, but some of our new printers like Ender 3 S1, and Ende 3 S1 Pro have a direct drive that can meet your needs, we think. If you still have some problems with our product, pls write to us again at cs@creality.com
@@Creality3D I don’t know why the original commenter is mad. I appreciate the fact that you offer different models for different price points.
the only thing bad about it is doesn't have a resume when you're filament beaks. I lost 37 hours of printing and all the filament when the filament broke. at least the ender3 pro has it. 👎
Just install a filament runout sensor. The official is like 10-20 bucks but you can also print your own runout sensor for less than a dollar US. Do a little research! The hobby of 3d printing is all about tinkering and modding your printer :D
