Good to see you hand fly that long! I think that shows that you appreciate what you're doing, and not taking it for granted. So many pilots get the gear up after departure and switch the autopilot on within seconds. Thanks for putting these videos up.
At the 12:15 mark it sounded like the captain said "plus 2 sinking 7." I assume that has to do with vertical and horizontal tracking of the signal (LPV, LOC, or VASI/PAPI). What exactly does he mean?
Al Plus 2 Sinking 7. Airspeed was +2 Knots above Vref and sinking down 7 hundred feet per minute. Both are good rates for landing at the 500 above ground level altitude. 👍🏼
Great landing....Hell for a minute I thought you two were in a simulator.....lolol!!! Not much movement in the cockpit. Great viewpoint with the monitor of out the front of the aircraft.
I see what you did with the Pilot's Eye intro haha! The SpongeBob transition was a hilarious touch as well. Nice vid! Although I'd have your company check the landing gear after that landing! ;)
Brian , you are so lucky I am not able to reach through this video and shake you hard. Why have you not been posting ? You have subscribers out here like an addict waiting and watching to see what your up to.. Hahahah
Hahaha. Well unfortunately I've had to deal with a few life situations over the past few months but I'm getting things back in order and I plan to upload more often.
Nice video man! I'm a corporate pilot in Bakersfield as well. Grew up and learned to fly in Fresno where Silver Air did some of their operations, so I know Jason and Chris decently. Are you guys based in Bakersfield?
Just found your channel, you’ve got some super cool vids. If you ever find yourself flying through KLUK or KCVG let me know, we can fly a 172 or something. I take pics and stuff on Instagram (@cvgaviation). Love how you included ATC and didn’t trim any callsigns or anything, and the two of you seemed to communicate really well in the cockpit. Definitely subbing!
Jake Simpson yeah I’ll have to take you up on that. Also I dont see the point in cutting out the callsigns. It’s only empty flights that I record on anyway. Thanks for watching. I’ll check out your account. Mine is @mayhempark
found this video because i wanted to get it on my flight simulator. Nice flying captain. God bless man and be safe out there. If you ever want to follow a missionary pilot from Jamaica, hit me with a sub. i am subbing to yours right now with a thumbs up. Look forward to seeing more, especially in that left seat.
As long as I’m not actually holding the camera there’s no violation broken. Also the flight has to be part 91. I can’t film during 135 operations. Those are the FAA regulations. As far as my company goes, they enjoy my videos.
Yep. I think I’m gonna add a disclaimer to my videos from now on. As more people watch there’s a higher risk of people trying to report me. Haters gonna hate. Haha.
@@BrianMonette I know right lmao. My company is kinda strict on it with us, but I'm glad that yours is okay with it, and you get to show people what it is that you do 😌👍🏾.

You're welcome man. I definitely enjoy hand flying more than anything. More to come.
I loved the style and humor between cuts. Really enjoying the Challenger and professionalism shown throughout your videos! Thank you, sir.
Brian your a great inspiration and other young men should look up to you. Once again job well done.
I appreciate that!
Very Nice! You guys have very good cockpit etiquette. Good to see you get some stick time in the right seat.
Glad to see my UA-cam bell ring n its was a vid from you. As always you guys have great CRM. Thanks for posting.
Hey Ron. Thanks for watching.
Man, it’s good to have you back! Hope all is well. Looking cool in those shades, btw.
Looking smooth with the flight controls !
Exceptional flying skills and teamwork!!

Stephen Manuel thanks bro. New video out tomorrow. I didn’t have any camera die on me this time.

At 9:18 it sounded like you said "shoot". If you did, why?
Hey Brian, great movie. Is Silver Air hiring? I can't find it on their website, also what are their mins?

You won't get in trouble for filming yourself during takeoff and landing?

Ohh ok. We had a few get in trouble for that, but it makes sense because the flight not 91.
