2014 Chevy Equinox. Car Battery Swap. yay me...

There are two ways to have more money. You can either work more and make more, or you can spend less and not have your car towed and pay to have a simple battery replaced. We now have more money by only having to drive to town to buy a replacement, then spending 1/2 hour replacing it.
Thanks to Chevrolet for designing cars as dumb as possible. It's downright impossible to change an exhaust manifold on a Chevy Equinox by yourself and even changing the battery is a ton of unnecessary steps. It's not like the battery is hidden or tucked away. They were just too lazy to cut an opening in the plastic piece to get to the bolt.
But this is how you save money. Otherwise we'd have to have the car towed just to replace a battery. It was DEAD. We couldn't even get it jump started with my F-150 somehow. Well that may have just been impatience.

Thx pimp, just changed it. It wasnt too bad, but they diffinately ain't sh.. for that battery placement; took me bout 20+ minutes. I used a flat head and some needle nose pliers to squeeze the plastic caps off (and back in) safely.

Did you have anything go wrong with the computer after replacing the battery? I was told you need a fancy gadget to plug in while you do this !??

No you can plug in basically a little battery to hold the computer on to remember presets and stuff but I dont bother. You just gotta go back thru and set your stations and clock again is all.
