I was listening to the new versions of AJFA with bass and thinking “this is fucking prog metal….why is this not prog metal?” I wish they would have just kept rewriting AJFA forever.
Could've easily happened had they taken a break from touring. They wanted to play easier music after ajfa because it is demanding live night after night..
@Behemothius I agree 100%. Cliff was the one that understood music theory and how to write music the most and I think he was the driving force of the music's direction. I think they would be phenomenal had he lived. Look at how heavy to live is to die is! Cliff wrote that music
@@ryanlusby569 I throughly felt like it was Metallica playing a tool cover. This hast be my personal favorite tool songs as well. Must jammed to it hundreds of times since 2006. The lack of imagination you no longer need with this AI stuff.
Holy shit i’d never thought id see my top two favorite bands of all time in a collab 😂 And the fact that it’s tied for my fav TOOL song vicarious 🤘This is awesome thanks for making this 🙏
Do you think covering "Pneuma" with young Jamws voice will be a good one? I think it is. Guys, let's vote it by liking this comment so that channel owner sees us, come on!
Parallel universe: Metallica goes deeper into prog Metal and release this masterpiece in 1991. No black album and no mass appeal. They remain the kings of underground metal
Wow Lars has really improved his drumming
When you listen to Puppets and Justice you’ll see true mastership
😂
This made me think of what it might be like if Lars played in Tool and Danny in Metallica lmao.
and you can actually hear the bass
Seems like he finally got some lessons 🤣
...And 10 000 Days For All
Geahhhh!
10,000 Seasons.
10000 days that never come
Genio assoluto ❤
Brilliant!!😂
Not sure if AI is humanities downfall, salvation or just an interesting…
Tool
Wow as much as I hate this comment I love it 😂😂
Yes. All of those.
Downfall
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA!
Unfortunately, none of those things are mutually exclusive!😂
In a parallel reality, Hetfield mistook his beer for mushroom tea.
now you've GOTTA make 1996 maynard cover a metallica song
LEPER MESSIAH
Oh yeayeah!
Until it sleeps
@@shawnboogz7546I second this choice
I vote- Escape
this is a lot better than I though it was going to be
At this point I think the challenge is to find something that 80's James Hetfield's voice DOESN'T work with
Spice girls
What the fuck for?
@@thijmentwistedpress X to doubt
@@thijmentwisted I'm pretty sure it would be at least listenable.

It's like some weird alternate universe where Metallica went in an even more progressive direction after AJFA.

@@scottashe984 I think it had to do a lot with Cliff's death. If Cliff didn't die, they would probably go more into prog metal or stoner rock.

Didn't they make Load and Re-Load?
Sounds so much heavier ,James around this late 80s period was untouchable.
6:35 man, that sounds AMAZING
You're not wrong
freaking epic
And it was totally plausible that he would be able to sing this in 1988-1992
It has a Type O Negative vibe 😄
Insane.... 6:35 ... insane
Tool & Metallica being my number 1 & 2 bands of all time this is amazing.
With the megadeth pic too. What a cool fuckin guy
@@Ja-mbiso metal
It's truly amazing. James and Maynard would be passed if they knew they've been replaced by a computer.
Fucking same bro
Same and same.
Best ai song i have ever listened to
I love that this almost sounds live, honestly incredible
This made me so thrilled I am having rough time explaining it.
We are beyond doomed
@@aimdays5222 dude hates fun
Honestly, it's an improvement.
I hope could see James Maynard Keenan singing Mastodon's music
I'd like to hear MJK replace Scott Kelly on Crack The Skye
A mixture between two of my favorite bands ever, this is just fucking incredible!!
This shows just how bad ass James’s vocals were back then. Let’s hear him over Pantera next!
Cowboys from hell is on here somewhere.
pantera definitely will work because Cowboys and Vulgar were clearly heavily inspired by AJFA
this is a game changer is music industry...
This is channel is an alternate universe I love this channel
1:51 DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE
I AM A TABLE
This sounds good. Try 1988 or 1991 James singing Soundgarden Outshined.
Dude this is incredible. It gave me chills. It's not perfect, but my God how badass does james sound playing as tool front man. 88 James is king.
Dude this is unbelievably good 👌
DEAR GOD this is fucking amazing.
It literally sounds sounds like a tool cover from Metallica lol. It’s incredible
No it doesn't. Danny can play in time and a wah pedal didn't get violated during this song.

the pot would sound sick based off of how ungodly good this sounds
The more AI James Hetfield cover channels...
The better!!! Keep up the good work🤘🏼
Hey James, If you happen to stumble upon this one, just want to let you know that I would LOVE you to cover this song on your next covers album.
If you think Lars can play this you must be high
@@spikestoyou so high
@@spikestoyouexpect Lars to just wing it and blast the hell out of the snare for that cover LOL
Sounds badass
An extremely fitting song for ai covers
This rips. Just needs those Hetfield yeahs, like "why oh, why, yeah"
This is incredible.
Vicarious them all
Damn this is sweet, not sure James could pull this off now, but would be insane to see for sure.
He definitely could. He sounded like his oldself on his new album stuff and super fresh and powerful performing them live.
It would be even funnier if it had James early guitar tone too
Well fuck. I may never listen to the original again after this!
The best so far...emotionally.
Man, this is amazing. 😅
Do you think you could do Tool doing Holier Than Thou ? 🔥
Holy shit.
What about Hetfield 1988 voice in Supper's Ready by Genesis?
That’s wild!!
now do Jambi and/or The Grudge
I need this in my life I will pay good money
This is INSANE!
Holy shit i’d never thought id see my top two favorite bands of all time in a collab 😂 And the fact that it’s tied for my fav TOOL song vicarious 🤘This is awesome thanks for making this 🙏
Goddamn this is badass.
f-ing brilliant mashup, amigo \m/
If this kind of stuff doesn’t scare you I don’t think you fully comprehend what is about to happen to humanity over the next few years.
The vocal sounds great
if metallica continued like this after AJFA O.o
I need to hear Maynard sing something from load/reload
Holy crap this is dope
one might dare to say this is better than the original
It's the 80's cover that we never knew existed...😎
I really hear James sing "Bad To The Bone."
A glimpse of what I wish Metallica had become. Thank you for making this.
If they went this direction during the load and reload era
I'd say they could actually cover this song if they wanted, but then I remembered that Lars is no Danny.
Hit a honerun with this one sir congrats wowee
Makes you appreciate the night and day difference between 1988 production and modern production
WOW
Love this so much. Thank you.
6:35 now that's really beautiful 😍
Try James singing some Rob Zombie or White Zombie

Teenagers From Mars by Misfits with 80s James vocals
brilliant!
This is incredible!
Do Mother by Danzig with 80s James vocals
Outstanding
Man some of the scream parts are legit badass! Funny cus Maynard Hetfield is my favorite fake name to use
Opera d'arte
Somehow, with James singing this, it feels like if "St. Anger" was mixed with "...And Justice for All."
HOW! THE! FUCK! DID! THEY! MAKE! THAT!? HAHAHA!!!!
Not bad tho. As much as I flack on Metallica, James has a more than solid voice, as well as unique!
Had.

James let Justin plug his bass in! Nice 👍

Lol I just noticed
This song goes well with load era of James.
This is fuckin awesome.
Hell yes, this is fire AI
I wasn’t expecting to hear a little percentage of John Davis in the ai vocals.
It sounds good. No wimpy jon Davis lmao
Oooo yeah
This, is fucking AWESOME
This is actually pretty badass! I heard about this and had reservations about this.
Would love to hear this in AJFA style
This is good but I wanna hear Adam’s Parts played like James would have played them. That would blow my fucking mind…
now all that remains is for maynard to sing one of metallica
This is wild
This is pretty cool
Holy shit! Tool would be my fav band if it were original.
NICE
very interesting
That "WAAAAATCH THINGS DAAAAÏ" was heartbreaking, breathtaking. Awesome.
Will we ever get that exact same song, but with Lars replacing Danny ?
