Thank you for mentioning about vegetarian diet with no onion no garlic! First time learning others have same preference too. My partner and I follow yogic diet and learned that they are too heaty for our body that affects our energy balance. Specifically, the lower energy centers, thus you'll hear increased sexual drive, anger, irritation, etc.

zermatt! yall should definitely go back gokul and try the whole menu! you will surprised by how well they execute the non-indian dishes like hokkien mee, char kway teow, laksa etc.
maybe Zermatt you can do one just for Gokul - all their food on the Menu.... we like their food, but we can never have a chance to try all their food.... would be so interesting to see your comments for their food... Thank you

Nicely done Zermatt. Lots of different diets in the world. I have had a rule for the past 35 plus years and that is when I am hungry and between meals to eat as many fruits and vegetables as I want. Just plain, not fried or added dressings or sauces. You have a good plan on eating a vegetarian diet to mix things up.
Yeah I love it feels almost like a mini detox in between shoots, I'm sure it worked really well for you as well since you do marathons and you'll have to keep that inflammation low
Didn't know you're mostly avoiding meat on regular days! I tried Gokul, Herbivore and Boneless Kitchen and they're really good. I always go back to Gokul whenever I'm back in SG. And yes the carrot cake is so gooood! I need to try the vegetarian Mala place whoop!

Sorry have to add one more comment! Do try The Boneless Kitchen's sister restaurant Daehwa as well! Located at Fusionopolis! And you MUST try the kimchi pancake and the japchae! I love both outlets and have brought my friends to eat there a few times and they all loved it as well!

I'm generally a carnivore. But, the presentation of the dishes are mind-blowing, especially herbivore. She asked if you can finish the food. You aren't even in Super Saiyan mode yet, lol.. Invite her for a full menu next time 🤣

There are a few schools near Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre, the old boys/girls from those schools would remember the good times where we used to hang out in that mall. Back then, there were not many malls.
There are a few other popular old shops in there.
Lim's shop on the 4th floor(selling computers, consoles and games).
Fragrance Restaurant specialized in traditional teo chew cuisines at B1.
Red Panther barbershop on first floor.
I saw the Nature's restaurant, but never went in to try. Will plan to visit next time, thanks for the recommendation. ;)
Hi Zermatt, finally got to try The Boneless Kitchen today. I agreed with you that Kimbap on its own is very flavourful.
I don't really fancy the kimchi pancake. Savoury Shitake and king oyster is yummy!

What I learn from my Buddhist friend is, the vegan and vegetarian Buddhist main purpose is to control your animal instinct by skipping animal product and of course to value their lives as well, but then, they also skip all of garlic and onion because those are well known aphrodisiac, which they believe is also an animal traits that need to be suppressed/control over food.

Oh my god, vegetarian food!! I got a suggestion, you can try eat at Zi Zai Vegetarian "自在斋" , I usually went to the restaurant at West Coast, cause it's near my grandma house!!!!! 😊

麦片虾，fish and chips, fried carrot cake, all is GOOD, can give it a try!!! I REALLY LOVE IT, I don't mind eating it everyday!!!!!!! 🙂💕
