Tekka Centre will be closed from Jul. 3, 2023 for repairs and redecoration works.
The first level, which houses food stalls and a wet market, will reopen later on Sep. 30.
I think you should do a foodie Vietnamese or Thai tour 2024 or 2025. Organise places to stay ( it doesn't have to be 5 stars) where we can eat and so forth.. happy to help where I can, but seriously, ppl would love that, and I'd be first in the queue. Just a thought 😊 I'm in Australia, BTW

Thank you for this video. Just watching now and it's making me so hungry and really missing Singapore! I always make sure I stay a few days in Singapore whenever I travel for work or a holiday. Such amazing food, drinks, friendly people, excellent underground music (like Hong Kong used to be) and interesting sights. Love the hawker centre, botanical gardens, temples and the secret food court at the airport. The spicy organ/sweetbread noodle soup and the pandanus soft desserts and custards are to die for!🤤😋 It's been too long between visits, but I plan to take my children there for a few days before and after an overseas holiday when they're older.
Have you done a video on the best chilli mud crab there or the hotel buffet's?
we have nature reserves here too. so if youre in the mood to fight off spiders, monkeys, mosquitoes, wonder what species of bird makes that particular call, or be sharp sighted enough to spot a shy native snake species.. lol.. oh and you might find a dried up well and moss-strewn tomb (that dates more than 100 years back) if youre lucky, deep within the greens.

As for the scissors-cut Beach Road Hainanese curry rice,the idea of using scissors to cut,stems from being cost-effective,as during the 1950s,scissors were much cheaper than knives or choppers! Anyway,Hainanese chefs used to cook for the British,that's why you have pork chops and not so spicy curry! Wow,you even tried our famous salted-egg crabs? You never stop being so amazing!Brilliant content...you really have done your research well to feature all these famous eateries! Well done!

This is awesome. Meeting Marion in early March and filming tgt eating lunch at Tiong Bahru Market was the ultimate experience I ever had. Mario is truly who she is no drama just a lovely lady.
