Love your map setup! Of my 70 hours with GOH I dont think Ive ever used a flak gun. Maybe im confused or dumb, but whats different between a flak 88 and a normal anti-tank field gun? They're both for tanks, so why call one flak?
Flak gun refers to Flugabwehrkanone (German for aircraft defense Cannon) all of these guns were originally designed to be Anti-aircraft guns. This includes the flak 8.8 cm gun. The German army had a hard time penetrating the KV heavy tanks on the Eastern front. They soon realized that the high velocity and accuracy of the flak 18 could be used in combination with a AP round to penetrate the armor of these heavy tanks.
@@HotLuftwaffles109 ah okay! I was wondering why they were pointing AA cannons at tanks. Soviets and Americans didn't use AA guns against tanks historically?
@@BunnyBun11pretty much everyone had AA guns that could be used to shoot at other things besides Aircraft. Most of them are designed to be used for multiple purposes
the 8,8 cm flak 36 has 20 mm more penetration then the flak 18
Oh dude Thanks! Glad you caught that.
Another advantage of the Sd.Kfz 7/2 over the 6/2, besides its better protection, is that it can fire straight forward
Wow I learn so much from your videos ❤❤😮
Aww thanks love ❤️
These videos are awesome, why did you stop posting?
Had to start focusing on college more sadly. I appreciate your support!
The Sd.Kfz. 231 does have a 2cm KwK 30, same as the Sd.Kfz. 222, that is the AFV equivalent to the FlaK 30, the others have the 2cm KwK 38
great video brother !
Thanks man!
Can you do a video comparing the tank destroyers of the germans? I have a hard time figuring out which of the 75mm guns are the best
Of course man 👍
@@HotLuftwaffles109 thanks man!

Ostwind and Wirbelwind are missing
I will actually be including those in a separate video. Possibly one that goes over tanks since I forgot to put them in this one.
