Not only is this one of the best tutorials put together for GOH but also good to watch for most similar strategy games. Who ever done this is amazing and is such a helpful video for beginners and better than the actual in game tutorials
for anyone wondering i just learned today after having the game for almost a month that you can basically have it in sandbox mode when you use test mode.... it gives you UNLIMITED RESOURCES ON LAST MODE THIS IS INSANELY FUN
Wow, amazing tutorial! Wish these types of tutorial were available for other types of games. Thanks for sharing! Still on the fence about purchasing GOH, but you are making it very hard not to! :)
@@SturmFuhrerPK Sorry if you see this post twice as not sure if you will see it. Recently purchased GOH so really enjoying your related content. Thank you! So earlier today I watched your getting started with GOH video and have a question concerning the use of mods. Very confused on the "Valour" mod and what it brings to the game. Does the Valour mod actually add anything for single player gameplay, namely more missions or new units? At this point I am only interested in single player therefore are there any mods (if not Valour) which add missions and new units for single player gameplay? I seem to recall that you showcased some missions you made, if so, are they for single player? Thanks in advance for responding to my questions!
@barrysworld640 Valour mod add more factions but for conquest and multiplayer. If you want single player mods then check my recent videos and also look for mission pack or mission mods.
@@SturmFuhrerPK Hello again! Still a bit confused with respect to the use of mods. Looking through Steam workshop, I see many cool mods that I would like to try but I don't have any interest in PVP, however when you say "multiplayer" does this mean the mods will work in the "skirmish" mode where I can just create games with only me verses the AI, which will allow me to play these different scenario mods, for example a Pacific campaign mod or a Vietnam war campaign mod (provided I have the required DLCs). As always, thanks for your time replying to my questions, sir! :)
I remember reading somewhere that you can actually make the mines more powerful by placing an artillery shell next to it. I wonder if this works the same if you place dynamite next to a mine. Or what about dynamite inside a vehicle which you drive to block the road. Would it explode if a tank tries to crush it? It would be interesting if you could make a tutorial video about these tricks. Testing various methods. 👍
GOH is better in literally every way. Graphics, sound, particle effects, textures, combat, and more. MOW2 looks like a high school digital art project mimicking a real RTS game. Everything about it is trash compared to GOH.
great tutorial. i had no idea taking cover behind a fence would give you almost no protection... The game doesnt tell you that. It shows the same shield symbol as if you had taken cover in the trenches.
@@SturmFuhrerPKanother thing I just found out is that if your whole squad wants to collect as many mines as possible, like you need in the Panfilov mission, you can double click on the mines, and everybody in the whole squad will take as many as possible. And thing: when giving orders under pause, it's best to separate all squads into individual soldiers and click on the soldier or draw a square around him, rather than the tag on top. Because in that way all information gets updated on screen without you having to unpause briefly
what an actual fuck this is probably the best tutorial for any game i have ever seen so far
Except some voice is missing.
Barbedwire studios have done a great job
Absolutely 💯
made MEN OF WAR 2 redundant now hahaha.
Why is this so good? I've learned so much from this video and I've played the game for awhile. Great job!

Like the new style and split screen.!! Very impressive.
This is a great tutorial, really demystifies a lot of the less-clear mechanics, well done.

Which do you think is better Gates of Hell or Man of War 2 and why?

you can change them to anything you want
The best ever🎉
Amazing tutorial video. 17th comment
Welche sind die besten mods für Mission❤ danke
How to throw grenades into bunkers? You can only throw them on top. In the tutorial I had to shoot the barrels. Never managed to throw them in
Through the doors or windows. Needs practice.
@@SturmFuhrerPK but I thought you can only throw in an arc
