- There's always been this talk about whether or not the merger would happen in JJK. While many people believe it should, some (including myself) were confused how it would be activated. One of the known "conditions" for the merger was that the culling games had to end first. We knew that the culling games wouldn't end until all players (including our main cast) die, except Kenjaku and Sukuna. So while I obviously don't think everyone will die in this final arc, it would also mean scrapping up the merger event. So in today's video, I explain how the merger can still be unleashed without the requirement of every player needing to die. That condition shouldn''t exist anymore. Some of you probably already knew this already!

Also, the fact Kamo is literally OVERSEAS means obviously everyone wont be required to die for the merger to start. People coming up with all these ideas how everyone will "technically" die or will die and be resurrected, but no, Kamo is legitimately halfway around the world and we're not going to get a Sukuna tracking down Kamo arc. So the conditon for all the players to die is obviously not going to be fulfilled.

Isnt kamo oversea because they used the rule of exiting the game to switch his Place in the culling game with someone else ? Like he Is no more a culling game player at this point regardless

@@whirlwind872 That is true and I have to say that after re-reading the rules I don't know if he can actually leave the CG even wanting. It depends if the rule allowing a player to leave in exchange for one entering is denied by the one that stop new player to join. It depends from when Kamo left, if it was before the 18 November he could have left the CG, after is unclear if it can be done.
If Kamo didn't left the CG, he would die in 19 days due CT removal not having someone else to do the point trick... So regardless sukuna has no need to track him down.
Still it seems weird to me to flee from a place where your life is literally bound to a death rule without ensuring you will not die simply by going too far from the colonies or tengen's barriers

My prediction is still that if Sukuna gets weakened enough he’ll merge himself with Tengen, bailing on Megumi’s body in the process. I think merger!Sukuna is more interesting than some Kaiju monster and it allows us to get Megumi back for the final Sukuna phase.

The page that you showed, when saying that all players except Sukuna and Kenjaku has to be dead to end the culling games, has been changed with the release of volume 24.
Gege added Uraume's vessel so there's also Uraume who doesn't have to be killed.
Trust me, Megumi is gonna be freed from Sukuna and will be able to summon the merger soaked in his shadows using it as his new shikigami
I think that Yutaru will slowly turn into Kenjaku due to using his body swap technique for five minutes after Sukuna will try to Kamikaze himself and everyone else starting the merger while still having the reveal that Yuji is “Yujaku’s” son.

I believe there might be a mistake in your video. If Kenjaku activates the merge while the culling game is still ongoing, he technically wouldn't be breaking his bonding vow because the game would eventually come to an end after the merge. So, I don't see why Kenny wouldn't do this.
Glad you made a video pointing this out. Even if the the binding vow wasn't on Kenjaku, who is to say that Tengen herself won't do the merger? After all, we are told she was becoming more and more cursed spirit, and now she has been exposed to Kenjaku and Sukuna...what if she just says "fuck it"?. The danger Tengen poses to humanity by herself was theorized from the very first time we are told about the character as a possibility - and that was before she became a puppet for Kenjaku.

I already figured this out somehow, and I may have commented this on one of your earlier videos. Sukuna can activate the merger pretty much whenever he likes. He just wants to kill them first to avoid interference. Sukuna wants to fight the merger monster *alone*. Those ancient sorcerers really loved a one-on-one.
He can't activate whenever he want to this video kind of false because if what fakeweeb saying true right that mean that would mean the rule he give sukuna wouldn't work

@FakeWeeb because you said if kenjaku dies right every biding vow he made with culling games would end right but that doesn't make sense because sukuna would lose authority to start the merger because it's a rule kenjaku created.
@@tarigshepherd4356 I think you’re mixing up rules and binding vows. Kenjaku added a rule in the CG to let Sukuna have authority, that wasn’t a binding vow. So when Kenjaku dies, you’re right that it doesn’t affect the rules already added in the culling games.
Although needing to END the culling games was a BINDING VOW, not a rule.

While the option proposed is valid. I have still some doubts because regardless of sukuna is technically capable of starting the merge or not before he is the only player... The merge itself should imply a game over and a lose for the main cast, even if they are able to kill sukuna and the being resulting from the merge.
I mean, the premise of the merge is to fuse everyone with tengen and while the "everyone" is technically wrong as people can protect themselves with CE, it would still effect something like 99% of the popolation... In the end losing that part of the japan/world (still unclear) in the process... So unless gege is ready to pull out a "Thrid impact" like ending for JJK. I still think the merge actually happening and succeding is unlikely, not impossibile but unlikely.
Ps: I forgot but Urahame is out of the exceptions rule for terminating the game, so he has to be killed too in kenny's plan. Sure it's possible they planned to turn him again into a cursed object so he isnt technically alive foe the counting of the players and rhen reincarnate him again but is a convoluted way, so maybe they simply planned of discarding the ice manipolator

Very good video! I was thinking Yuuta had technically already died so his death counted, Maki wouls be spared, Hakari would die and i wasn't sure how Yuuji would have been handled but yours makes so much sense
i recently watched a video about reversal techniques and i think sukuna is the first character to show it off through dismantle . Cleave requires contact while dismantle requires honing in on specific targets which requires more focus . He has mentioned multiple times his joy of seeing others notice when dismantle is coming in as if there was something completely unnatural to how it is deployed . He has also alluded to his cursed technique being unknown to jj society through jogo further solidifying the mystery as to how his technique works . One last thing is yuji has only shown being able to use cleave through shrine which was probably set up by yuta who is proficient in using others CT
After the 2nd part of chapter 262 this is probably what sukuna is going to do😅
No sukuna/Megumi can add or change the rules now so that’s also a possibility.

Would like to add this is what I worried about my question now is technically Yuji has to die to stop sukuna that chance has already technically passed as much as I don’t like it the merger will happen unless Yuji kills sukuna first.
Megumi and Yuji die but everyone else live ending 1. Everyone else dies but Yuji ending 2.
Thank God if this happens, Sukuna vs everyone was excellent, but the story also needs to serve its purpose by not just catering to one character.

I feel like they should’ve jumped kenjaku using ui ui before they fought Sukuna since yuta shouldve then be able to access his memories and know how to turn himself into a cursed object upon death so that gojo could do it and the other sorcerers

As the other answer asked, how Yuta should be able to have Kenny 's Memories ? Like Kenny Is the only person Yuta cant obtain the Memory from using Kenny 's own CT because he Is essentially a cursed brain into a zombie and we dont even know if kenny's Memory are ingraved into the corpse... Without considering the amount of damage the kenny's last host get... Like his the body was unusable for that purpose.
Also ignoring this... Kenny had in Place a monitoring net to keep track of everyone Dangerous to him... Killing him even worker because takaba had to approch him in normal way First, then trap him in a delusion so big to stop him from monitoring the cast and only then Yuta can even move from the initial position.
So essentially the Plan already was to Jump on Kenny as soon as they could, Simply the "as soon as" was the Time frame we saw It happens in the story

Everyone will die except Yuji and Sukuna. Yuji will devour Sukuna and Yuki will unalive himself to avoid Sukuna from taking over
In other words, the main cast is doomed regardless of sukuna's fight outcome. Honestly, I am glad this would happen since it would be a good ending for the series and would left open the posibility of having sequel but in a world of magic and CURSES. Also, i wanted to point out this merger thing is really similar to the human instrumentality project in evangelion.

My theory on how Sukuna will eventually be defeated is that he will continue making a new Binding Vow in every chapter released. And eventually, he will lose count of all the millions of ass-pull Binding Vows he's made, and then slip up and break a Vow and end up killing himself 😌

Omg wait what!! How did I forget this?! So to create the CG, Kenny had to make a Binding Vow to end the CG. Meaning ending the CG was only related to the merger bcuz it’s one of Kenjaku’s Binding Vows? And now that he’s dead, the characters don’t have to die!

I don’t think the binding vows break if you die. If that was the case wouldn’t sukuna’s enchain vow with yuji have been nullified when yuta killed yuji? And we know it counts as a death otherwise his vow with the higher ups wouldn’t have been fulfilled. I’m not sure if that counts as killing both sukuna and yuji but at the very least yuji would have been classified as death for a period of time.
That’s a good point although it could be that the Enchain binding vow was for sure halted (when Yuji died) but then when he came back, the binding vow also comes back.
I can see this. I’m also wondering why Kenjaku truly had Sukuna eat a piece of tengen during the bath instead of the fingers. I get why from what they told us but it seems like there might be a little more to it
Sukuna will def take gojos body and it would make sense cuz he would have the six eyes and Tengen is linked with the six eyes
maybe we will see sukuna winning against our protagonists and fighting against the merger, since he just wants thrilling fight in his life.
It could just be me but that monster has the same shape of the bone structure that sits above sukuna when he’s inside yujis body or his innate domain. Idk if it’s just coincidence or correlation tho
Imagine yuta can be seen as kenjaku somehow and yuji takes megumi soul and he is recognised as sukuna and those two fight the merger cursed creature thing.

Kenjaku did not register themselves for CG, instead it's the body (Suguru Geto) as Sukuna in Megumi's body and Uraume inside their vessel, unlike Sukuna in Yuji's body situation
So assuming by some means, Sukuna is beaten, how will the cast end the games

I think we have to go back to what Tengen said about the merger when they were first discussing the culling game. Tengen said jujutsu sorcerers have the ability to RESIST the merger, but that does not mean they cannot willingly participate. I truly think Sukuna WIPES all of the students before the merger. Yuji on his deathbed is watching it happen and decides to join because of the conviction to kill sukuna. Yuji truly is a vessel, and Tengen described the merger as a collective conscious where emotions spread instantly. I think yuji gives up his body (essentially death), and joins the merger as the “vessel” for the desire to kill sukuna. Ties a bow on the curse his grandpa put on him: “die surrounded by people”
Head canon: I don’t know why this notion of “guns being effective against jujutsu sorcerers” keeps popping up in my head. We’ve seen it so many times in the story, but nothing comes of it. For some weird reason I feel like Sukuna fights the merger, and STILL wins only to finally face death at the hands of Maki with a gun (the real cursed tool). It gives the opportunity to give a callback to Mai as well at the end of the story
Also remember yuji is fighting to kill sukuna, BUT sukuna is fighting to crush yuji’s (and arguably gojo’s) ideals. How fitting for the story would it be, and how much of a blow would this be to sukuna’s character, that he actually KILLS yuji, BUT HE STILL CAN’T CRUSH YUJI’S IDEALS
The cg rules exist after a players death, so i think the merger still requires what it requires unless they can change that rule.
I get what you saying, but none of the CG rules state that the merger requires the CG to end. Only Kenjaku said this in chap 216, and that was for his own binding vow.
So now that he’s dead, the binding vow should be removed.
The CG rule only states that when everyone (except Kenjaku and Sukuna) die, the CG will end. Not that it’s necessary for the merger to start

The whole point of this video is that Kenjaku’s binding vow is NOT a rule, it’s a fucking binding vow that only applies to the person who made the binding vow. Kenjaku promised that HE would end the culling game if he’s allowed to create the culling game. Nobody else is forced to end the culling game.

The issue I see with the video topic Is the conflating of "how Kenny was able to start the CG" (something that required the paradoxical situation of ending an eternal stuff) and the merge's prerequisites.
The merge requires the CG to end, maybe to turn avaliable all the CE stored in the barriers or maybe because the rule on places for the game itself prevent the merge somehow.
Those two elements are separate, the CG Is an impediment to the merge regardless of how the CG was kickstarted and require It to finish for the merge to Hope to start, this regardless of Kenny personal promises on the matter to creare the game.
One possibility I didnt see used Is Hana/Angel messing with the barrier of the CG to prevent the merge but essentially allowing It due the not fully understanding of how the whole CG -meege Dynamic works
