She’s actually got pretty good technique & has a naturally, big, resonant voice. She was never a screamer, sure, a bit of grit here & there but she never abused her voice. Had the pleasure of meeting Ann & Nancy Wilson in 1978. It was after the concert and my friends and I had a hunch where the band was staying. We waited in the lobby and the entire band appeared! The only thing I could say was “Thank you for a great concert!” Ann said thank you and they moved on. HEART is the best!

Ann Wilson has one of the best voices in the business @ 72yrs old, I was in high school in 1980 when I started following Heart. One of the best girl bands ever of the 80's!!! Amazing, totally Amazing!!!

Had the pleasure of meeting Ann & Nancy Wilson in 1978. It was after the concert and my friends and I had a hunch where the band was staying. We waited in the lobby and the entire band appeared! The only thing I could say was “Thank you for a great concert!” Ann said thank you and they moved on. HEART is the best!
