I purchased the super rock rey. It was really loud. my fix was too fill the gears full of sticky grease. And plug any holes it had. it's was a messy fix but it worked. thanks for the videos love them. keep them coming
Can you review the vitavon dual shock system? I'm very close to ordering these, but would love to see them in action before putting the cash down as they are definitely not cheap

They do do soldering, depends on what you are interested in having soldered? I had them solder for me it was $4.50 but like I said depends on what you want soldered. Try emailing Holmes hobbies there usually pretty quick to respond!👍🏼
I just installed top arms now it’s all vitavon in the front and the sway bar doesn’t stay in and runs the springs. Is there a solution other than no sway bar ?

I just purchased the SBR ….was undecided for awhile between the SBR, UDR and Mojave! My deciding factor was the realism of the SBR , size and Horizon hobby had a huge sale on the Brenthal version!
I will have to get the shock tower and arms as I am not keen on that 'U' shaped hinge pin I have had it pop out twice on impact's still not sure quite how it happened. I have done the GPM steering bellcrank conversion to alloy, the only non alloy is the shock tower, I must go see what else Vitavon has for the SBR and my UDR, like you still on the fence whether to get a Super Rock Rey as I have the clone to the SBR and liking the look of the SBR V2. I want to try without a rear swaybar or a softer one but will need to fabricate one, I remove the front swaybar if on particularly if I am on very rough terrain, ditto with my UDR. Is the Vitavon re-positioned rear swaybar better than the stock set up.

Man this one is on the top of my list! But I won a Mojave EXB and 1/5 kraton EXB in a raffle, maybe when I’m done with my XMaxx I’ll throw the 8S system in the Mojave, but I still think I’ll get an SBR. Suspension looks so cool in the slow motion shots.
I have to do this job pretty soon, just gotta find the time, also I ended up getting the front bulkhead from Vitavon also (oversized bearings 😁), and believe it or not I ovaled-out the holes for the arm pins on one side of my truck top and bottom, which the bulkhead and shock tower should address.
The front fender guards from skookum rc really work awesome. Keeps 90% of dirt out and it protects the fender flares as like a brace. And they are pretty stout how you mount them.

from what I have seen nobody has put a castle creations motor or even a hobbywing in the super baja ray, why?
The servo gets in the way.. can only put in short can motor from what I understand
May i know the name of the part that supports the rear body end from bending down?

For the 800kv I like 30/35 or 25/30. For the 1100kv 25/35 or 20/30

I haven’t messed with a Vitavon Swaybar on this. If it’s further out on the links or at the axle it’s going to be more effective.
