    Those vitavon fron and rear lower arms look fantastic just bashing around!

    I've been waiting for this truck getting upgraded.

    Awesome upgrade Joe. I went out bashing with a few friends yesterday, one of then had his Traxxas UDR which is very similar to the Losi. It became a favourite to most of us after we tried it, i can only imagine what that Losi is like.

    Front mud guards is a must. Keeps 80% of dirt/sand out of the chassis. 3d printed. And it acts like a brace in the front flair or fender.

    We need bigger springs, and thicker fluid now because the body is taking a beating with the extra weight bottoming out the shocks every little bump. I've got them too lol. Flex doesn't seem so bad after running these things a few times

    Just to hold it over last run, mu buddy who has an sbr2.0 as well came up with just adding some tape to the underside of the wheel wells to stop the tires from rubbing all the paint off

    I posted a pic in the sbr2.0 group on fb under my vitavon gearbox post. They hold up well, i cartwheeled about 30ft and the bent pretty good. Put them in a press to bend them back and are as good as new. Only other thing damaged was a body clip.

    Check your bulkhead at the shock tower for cracking

    I 3D printed mine, yet to test them out, should still allow some flex.

    First youtuber to actually comment on how the cage is designed to flex to save the 4 link in big crashes. 👍Metal is the wrong choice not to mention it voids your warranty.

      So plastic braces over aluminum?

    • @DoubleClutchProductions
      @DoubleClutchProductions 2 роки тому +2

      @@Gooche Just to prove my fact, I have a SBR 2.0 with this brace on it and it completely cracked the bulkhead where the shock tower bolts in.

    Love my Sbr 2.0. I just installed some of them braces on mine but I went with plastic ones in hope that they give before my chassi. What batteries do you run in yours? I run the powerhobby 8s 7400mah and the truck seems to really like them and lasts a good amount of time,probably 40min of good hard running.

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  3 роки тому +1

      Most of the time I use cheap Turnigy 5000mah 4S. I also have some 6000 and 7200’s

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  3 роки тому

    Have the same truck, absolutely love it. Curious what shock oil do you use, seems to absorb bumps better than mine. And do your shocks leak? Mine leaked a lot before rebuild.
