    Love your channel!! A great way to keep the rear from shooting up on take off is to thicken up your rear shock oil, then you'll have a more level and predictable flight and smoother landings. You can also play with spring pre loads in the rear to keep it from twisting so much. It seems like a pain but trust me you'll be amazed with how much better shell run n gun.

    That’s one thing about the larger scale RC’s they look closer when performing like a real vehicle. Love it. I was just out with my Losi Lasernut & we all know it is not a 1:10 scale RC. I can tell you this on 4S it absolutely flies. Super fast. While tuning it it makes me wonder why you would even have higher settings on the drag brake. But I think when you first get it to get used to it use the break then re program it more & more till it’s minimum. It’s absolutely useless to set the brake above 50% or you can’t hit any jumps or it’ll crash. Even at 40% it’s still a bit to strong. I’ve got some time on it so I’m probably driving with more control & confidence but I’m telling you it’s scary fast & your adrenaline just fires up!🔥Nice run.

    great info bro , ive since removed the spare tires , fan assembly , extenguishers and fuel cell for weight purpose . im going to change the fork oil to 70 in the front and 60 in rears, also gorilla tapeing the inside of the tires to prevent balloning . last im increasing the spring tension i/4 inch to all shocks . the vitavon has not begun yet. 8s is violent
    lol

    Joe, my man, would love to see you do more with this truck. Bet you can get into the 18’s with it if you drive it more. It seemed like you were a little rusty because it drives different than your basher rigs. As a viewer I really like watching this one due to the scale aspect and being a big fan of baja trophy trucks. I get it though, your track is more suited for the pure bashers and race buggies right now. Maybe you can add an alternate leg of your track that has whoops? Thanks as always great content!!!

    I drove mine like twice. Still waiting for parts. Plus I have nowhere to really take it to. Can’t find the front drive shafts on eBay yet.

    Got a little too much rebound in the rear if you loosen your springs a bit and put a heavyweight oil in the damper it would help and stiffen up the front end a tad.
    Awesome run though man you know how to handle that big thing better than I can haha.

    What is the weight difference to stock? It looks much heavier in the way drives and carries itself. I bet you're battery life took a big hit too. Last question, do the benefits outweigh the cost?

    What purpose would a redesigned front axle serve. ? I've found the stock ones to be excellent.

    Hey dude, I have to say your channel is by far one of the best channel sive ever seen. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make a detailed, fun channel. I wanted to ask you about the suspension of some of your trucks, mainly DBXL SBR 2.0 and UDR. System My question is why don't you add any preload to the shocks? I don't mean a huge amount just a few turns?(For example I painted a dot on my shock collars of my UDR and a dot on each cap of the sprung shocks. I then counted the turns for each shock matching the 2 front to each other. While also matching the 2 rear shocks in their own number of turns. I've found this helps considerably with the dampening of the truck as well as bottoming out. Now sir I clearly admit you have eminence amounts more knowledge and skill than I do, I just have wondered this for a while because while all your vehicles perform amazing, I think you could possibly get just that much more, and with as many fans and followers as you have I think others will benefit from the tip as well. Just my opinion.
    Btw I also have Vitavon all over my Udr and it's so much better now it doesn't break anymore. Thank you again sorry for huge post.

    My favorite truck Joe awesome! Hey how do those Wheels compared to the stock one as far as performance

    • @mikehagquist5198
      @mikehagquist5198 2 роки тому

      Stock is lighter and don’t have to worry about bending a 60 $ rim. But man they look dope. I yet to swallow the $ on a set yet.

      these add weight which helps in air control, I've yet to bend a wheel or axle, which is kind of amazing as plastic wheels flex and absorb things
