PLEASE HELP Hey, I have a 2006 Cbr600rr and its been misfiring randomly. It mostly does it when the bike is hot, but sometimes when its cold and generally in low RPM. I changed the spark plugs, coils, did a fluid wash, gas stabilizer, oil change, checked the connections and related electrical stuff. When I put the new coils in, I made sure that the strips were all the way in. Any idea what could be causing it to still misfire?
The Tracer models offer a great complete package. They are comfortable and still very agile. The Tracer 700 is good with lower speeds. If you need more performance the Tracer 900 is the way to go. If Yamaha offered a Tracer 10/1000, I would really consider one of those. Downside of the Tracers are the hard seats and the suspension is not very tight. The Tracer 900 GT has much better suspension and also great options like cruise control, but it costs a lot more. But overall if you want a fair handling motorcycle and great pulling power and a nice seating position, the Tracer 900 is the way to go. Costs for a used Tracer 900 are around 7000-8500 euro’s
@5:09 bike is so gorgeous. the naked bikes just don't quite do it for me, I like the fairings and the extra protection that super sports offer in the front and rear of the bike
The CB650R is a lot more comfortable and also looks very good. They are different bikes, the one is a naked bike the other one a super sport(race bike).
I did everything change battery and starter noting changed. Last week i did a ground upgrade, 4gauge cable from neg battery to chassis and 4gauge from neg battery to motor. Fixed hot start issue, no problem after upgrade.
Thanks for your comment. I sold the bike a year ago, but the problem being the stator could very well be the case. I have red that the standard stator can not handle the heat. I will pin your comment for other viewers.
@@faithonwheels53 That could very well be the issue. Where they are placed on these 600RR's, they get very hot. I can't think of anything else that would be the culprit.
6:36 hot start problem. Feel free to comment and share your experience if you have the same problem
Find the issue?
I have same hot start problem on 2013 so if fixed problem can you share me how to fix it?
I have the same issues
Valve clearance maybe ?
@@deannn22 no I have done that and the problem is still there..

I hope you sorted the problem out. Or hope that someone from the comments can help.
Great video! What do you think about the Yamaha Tracer models?

Thanks to you im considering to get a license to ride one of these babies
right now I am between a CBR600RR and a CB650R , weighing my options

@7:03 oh wow
@7:20 ok great!

@@NAJErEa91 I agree, however the cb650r looks great for a naked bike.
Did you manage to address the issue? I have CBR 1000 RR with the same issue

Seems like you need a new stator

exhaust two brothers good?
This one has the Yoshimura RS5 and I think it sounds pretty good!
Nobody has any idea what the problem is?
The stock regulator overheats too quickly and that can be the problem. But I am not completely sure if that is the problem with mine.

@@faithonwheels53 try the search function on 600rr.net forum. I'm sure the issue has been posted about before.
@@danejurus69 thank you, I will do that! I will keep the channel posted if I fix the problem
@@faithonwheels53 please do. I love learning about bikes in general but especially CBR's. I subbed too btw 😁
