It picks up speed quick. It's actually 2 bikes in one: a quick city cruiser below 7k rpm and a supersport above that. The short stroke and aluminum pistons helps the bike pick up speed quick. Throttle is very sensitive & responsive: practically no freeplay and revs up very quickly.

Just got my first R6 2002 model and OMG! And any of these models weather it is the CBR,R6,NinJa get a gel seat mate makes a world of difference even to your back! Great review loving mine so much from across the pond 🇬🇧Ride safe brother!
Your one of the few that has said that the riding position is not comfortable for a sport bike. The 600rr has a reputation for comfort in the class, makes me 2nd guess my future purchase. Thanks for the vldeo.
Haha, thanks for reminding me why I won't be buying a 600 for my first or probably second bike! I want to be able to wind out more than just first gear before reaching the speed limit, and I think the supersport sitting position isn't the best match for me. Maybe a Hornet 600, those are tuned a little differently than the CBR.
I’ve been riding for a few months now and I have been riding harleys but I finally decided I was ready to try my buddy’s R6R and there really are no words to describe the feeling. His is not stock in any means but when you hit 70 in first gear and not maxing out your RPS before you even know you are speeding. It is something else
yep. I tested a gixxer 600 and the only bike I ever rode was a harley sportster. My god it changed my life on what "fast" really was. I stopped caring about sports cars that day. I'd need a quarter million bucks to buy a car that could replicate that feeling of power and speed.
I have the money for either the cbr300 or cbr600. With your prior experience on a 300 would you still recommend going for a 300 or just get a 600 for a beginner rider.
I'm actually considering the R3 and 600rr as my second bike (going up from a classic 125cc). I can't decide between the great looks and cornering ability of the R3 and the sound+acceleration fo the 600. HELP!
its whatever you want. They both corner really well. I had an r3. Its gonna be much quicker than that 125. It also weighs almost nothing and is extremely easy to throw into corners. I would base your decision on your state/country. Lots of highways and open roads like texas or new mexico? Go 600. Lots of windy roads, mountains, twisties, with more traffic? R3 all day long. Its so damn hard to ride a 600 in heavy traffic or in areas where you can't stretch its legs like on a highway
2007 and up apparently was. This one is more track-oriented. higher seat, lower clip ons. Once you adjust the suspension for your weight it gets more tolerable lol.
Did that happen again to your brother? The bike going off like that , it happen to me quite some times unfortunately...I was the regulator rectifier in my case
@@MotoChrisOfficial honestly, I don't see myself riding super sports in the future. They're just not practical. I'm definitely looking into a sport touring, preferably the ninja 1000. It's a comfy and fun bike
@Rata 4U thanks for the answer, I'm definitely gonna stick with that! And neither am I haha, gonna have to save up a bit to upgrade but in not nearly as skilled yet, still have a lot of practicing to do on my 300 Its great to be young!!
@@MotoChrisOfficial That was rude but thats how Supersports sit is in an aggressive stance. They're built for the track basically and to be sat tucked. It's not for everyone but I think the rush out weighs the uncomfortably . Be safe bro
Its called a superSPORT for a reason lol. You don't play sport to be comfortable, you commit to putting yourself in an uncomfortable position for the sake of performance. God I always hate when people get on sports bikes and whine about the ergonomics. Just develop some core stability and stop overloading your back.
@@MotoChrisOfficial Haha, I wish. Good review though, brought back memories of the first time I rode a 600, can't beat that stupid smile it puts on your face.

i just picked up a 06 cbr600RR and MY GOD ITS MY FAVORITE BIKE TO DATE! i came from a 2000 sv650 and man the cbr is such an amazing machine
I think the SV 650 Its the better Bike ?

I'd say find one you can afford and ask to take it for a test ride so you can check the ergos and make sure. No need to feel bad about asking

You should try the H2. My friend did try it a time ago... he said "Never again"
Hahahah yeah I'm definitely not ready 🤣

“Never again” I’d say more like “Never gonna ride another bike again”🤣😅💯🔥

just get a 6 bro an older 6 so that when you drop it you don't cry 😂
Coming from riding dirt bikes and cruisers, These 600 sportbikes just don't have the grunt that im used to, makes them feel slower.
I just got a 16 model love it but I'm always gonna love the zx636 bad bike should ride one
Sounds like my 03 cbr600RR with the jardine pipe.
wow, its thornton! bro im about to bet a 600rr. cant wait!
yooo.. that was crazy... just shut down like that... good thing ya wasn't in major traffic or on the hwy...
Might have been the kickstand sensor
yea bro... ya hit the kill switch... ya can kinda see it in the vid... when ya turned the throttle it seemed like ya hit the switch
Yooooo I see it now

I had a 2019 r3 and I now have a 05 cbr600rr. The cbr is the same weight as the r3 with 3X the power. Plus the sound adds to the experience.
600
"lets take it easy for a minute" previously saying how it's colder and cold tires *then pulls from 0-80 in a few seconds* 😂
Wow CBR is known as the more comfortable sport bike. Is it really that serious?
Compared to an R3 yeah🤣
you think the ride postion that bad... R6 is worst
2007 and up apparently was. This one is more track-oriented. higher seat, lower clip ons. Once you adjust the suspension for your weight it gets more tolerable lol.
Is that a 03 cbr?
Hey guys, which one do u think has a comfy riding position? CBR600RR or Gsxr 750??
How long did you ride a 300 for before you moved to this ?
It's actually my brothers bike I still prefer my r3. But I rode about. 2500 miles before jumping on a 600cc
Did that happen again to your brother? The bike going off like that , it happen to me quite some times unfortunately...I was the regulator rectifier in my case
He hit the kill switch :))
It’s a big difference from a r3 the hyabusa is scary
i want to start my channel up i recently got a cbr600 2006 honda but lookign for the right equipment for moto vlogs what do you use for mic and camera
I use a purple panda mic from Amazon and a GoPro hero 7💪 mounts are super cheap on Amazon too
How many miles does it have on it
Hey Chris,the 600rr doesn’t have a gear indicator right
No
Can't wait for you to put a new exhaust on your R3 man.Would love to try a 4cyl myself.
Big things coming for the R3 man! Stay tuned!
Ayeeeeeeeee lol awesome
You might've hit the kill switch
That wasn't a kill switch. The red FI light was on when it died.
@@diamondheat9 the key is still turned on, but idk I was just bouncing ideas, my bike is a champ
If you look up issues with cbr600rr you see engine fails while riding issue but i don't know how common that is
Bruh what exhaust is that
Lol BBCbr600rr 😂😂 just got mine last week
Bro the cbr is the most comfortable 600 out there. Your probably just in horrible shape lmao
Fellow R3 rider here. Try a liter bike. Itll take you to the other side
Hopefully one day

Yeah, first time riding feels like you're squatting and doing a push up.
You think the Cbr is uncomfortable? Wait until you ride an R6 😂😂😂The Gsxr and cbr are on the more comfortable 600 cc sports bikes
I would love to own an R6 one day but they are so dang tall!

The 600 ergonomics feels better compared to the 1000cc's as well. Especially for commuting and riding long distances.
