You can either top up to SA or Medisave for tax relief. Neither can be used to pay mortgage@@clarencelai4143
Using $1 to save 20 cents. CPF is a 1 way deal which I won’t consider pumping in to save on taxes but jamming my cash flow.
CPF isn’t a “one-way deal”. But you’re right to say that you shouldn’t top up if your cashflow is tight (as mentioned in the video).
how do you invest your SRS?
Does the closure of SA after age 55 as announced in Budget 2024 change anything said here?
CPF top up is less attractive now. So I will still prioritise SRS top up first.
