You’re right. I have a beautiful Lumix S1H but I also bought a 10-year old Canon C100MK2 because it produces fluid, organic, film-like images. It’s the end result that matters.
True, but to some extent the available features and .. omissions in a camera influence how it is used primarily.

Imagine showing up to a job with an old DSLR and saying, 'Don’t worry, I’ve mastered this camera.' 😂 Sure, an old camera can still get the job done, but a newer one can make a real difference in the outcome.

Your message has a lot of truth to it, but (sorry there's a "but") - once we have a realization, we then hold it up to be the *only* way.
I don' t believe it's all one way or the other. The features and capabilities of cameras (paint brushes), can make a big difference as well (in the right hands - which is of course your message).
But (yeah here comes another one), what you say is absolutely true (imo) - that one of the biggest differences (not the only one), is what the individual DOES with their "paint brush"
