⚘️ A little while ago, when I disappeared, I mentioned that I needed some time. I was feeling overwhelmed with myself and didn’t want to draw anymore. But the truth is, lately, I’ve been drawing a lot to fill my free time-though it’s not exactly “free” time. I have plenty of things to do, but I realized that drawing helps me calm down and find peace. This is why I felt drawn to escape reality through Daniel Volkov’s painting At the Pier. It’s been a comforting way for me to reconnect with myself.
