@sebnemsimsek Hello! Thank you so much for your comment. I highly recommend Mont Marte because it’s very affordable compared to other soft oil pastels. It offers a wide range of colors and has creamy texture, which makes it much easier to create textures in our drawings. Regarding the AP and CL certifications, I quickly checked the packaging. Although it’s written in Chinese, luckily, we live in a time where technology makes everything so much easier! 😍 The Mont Marte soft oil pastels are not suitable for children under 3 years old but are fine for students aged 14 and above. Since I’m older than that, I think it’s perfectly fine for me to use. I also checked Mont Marte’s website, and they state that the product is non-toxic. Honestly, I’m still not sure what the AP/CL certification would look like, but this is all the information I could find so far. I hope this helps! Thank you so much 🌻 Wishing you a lovely day ☁️✨️🤍

 The AP Seal identifies art materials that are safe and certified in a toxicological evaluation by a medical expert to contain no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans, including children, or to cause acute or chronic health problems. Children in grade six and lower, and adults who may not be able to read and understand safety labeling should use only non-toxic materials. The AP Seal ensures products are non-toxic when used as intended for young children, the physically or mentally handicapped, and any persons who cannot read or understand the safety labeling on product packages. ‍+ The Cautionary Labeling (CL) Seal The CL Seal identifies products that are certified to be properly labeled in a program of toxicological evaluation by a medical expert for any known health risks and with information on the safe and proper use of these materials. This seal appears on only a small percentage of adult art materials in ACMI’s certification program and on none of the children’s materials. These products are also certified by ACMI to be labeled in accordance with the chronic hazard labeling standard, ASTM D 4236, and the U.S. Labeling of Hazardous Art Materials Act (LHAMA). Products with this seal are not hazardous if used correctly. It is important to read the product label in full before opening a product that has the CL Seal. These products should never be given to children in grade 6 or lower or anyone with a physical or mental handicap who is unable to read and understand safety labeling on packages.

BTW, I guess they have AP certificate! I just checked the ACMI website, and when I searched Mont Marte, I found it! 😊

@@rosythistleland ah no, its okay! take your time slowly~ by the way, i want to know your opinion, are there any other affordable (like max 90 usd for 48-72 colors) oil pastels that have similar output like neocolor 1 or 2? you know carandache neocolors' feels and looks like dried gouache painting lol. i mean its so different and unique from other oil pastels, istg i can't find on google like alternatives of it /cries/

However, they are quite expensive 🥲. As for similar crayons, I haven't had the chance to try any yet. There are a few brands in mind, like Mungyo (Mungyo Water Soluble), but I haven't tested them either. This is just my own assumption based on their similar appearance~~ I'll definitely give them a try later 🐣🐣🐣 --- Have a good day ☁️

I like using both. mungyo feels more matte while greebel has more glossy results. and yes i will make a doodle drawing using oil pastels in my next video! ✨️☁️

hi, of course. Actually, this video is about a comparison of oil pastels that I have tried before. I can't sort it because I use all these oilpastels according to my needs when I'm drawing. If I want to add texture to my drawing then I will use Kuelox or Mont Marte, if I want to draw plants or scenery that has a lot of detail then I will use Greebel or Mungyo. If you are a beginner and confused about which oil pastels are good for practice and worth the price Well Mungyo set of 48 colors is a good choice if you want texture in your drawings, then Mont Marte is a good choice because the price is affordable compared to Kuelox or other soft oil pastels. What I often use lately are Kuelox and Paul Rubens because I like the textured in my drawing results. --- i hope it helps, have a good dayy ^^
