Nice to see HMSQE coming back to her berth. ❤ 0:41 I'm making an educated guess at what the Copper's telling the 2 lads in the dingy: "Get the F off my water and get yourselves over there 👉, where my colleagues are waiting to give you a right royal reeming!"
Is it just me or do Britain’s aircraft carriers? Spend more time in Port being retrofitted fixed maintenance then back to be fixed then back for some regular maintenance that could’ve been done when it was being retrofitted? I don’t seem to spend a lot of time at sea actually doing deterrent type things And it would be interesting. Know how many F35 each aircraft carrier has operationally available but one time
@Rob1972Gem, She can carry up to 72 aircraft (fixed and rotary), with a maximum capacity of 36 F-35B fighter jets. Although in **reality** she'll only carry 24 F35Bs (this is going on the assumption [which the British Army taught me MANY years ago is the "Mother of all fcuk ups!"] the MoD gets all 138 F35s we've asked for!). Side note: her aircraft complement will be a mix of RAF and Fleet Air Arm Squadrons.
@@GlasgowCeltic88 138 F35 across two aircraft carriers plus the ones based on land and then taking into account ones which are out of action through breakdowns ones are out of action through regular maintenance schedules doesn’t really leave us a lot spread between the two aircraft carriers and land based operations. It’s like you say cock up didn’t buy enough.
Hundreds may have shown there support ?? Maybe their people serve on board . BUT What a waste of tax payers money ,as this ship can be taken out with a hyper missile
I swear the beautiful HMS Q.E. gets longer and bigger every time I see her! Great footage!👍Thanks!
The world's most stagnant empty parking lot.
@@cammieg4381 was it damaged or refit? Gonna need every surface ship in coming. Months
@user-ht1xu4gv2u it went in for regular maintenance after an introductory deployment, alongside the U.S.S. Gerald R Ford.
@@Americanp8riot83 it seems to be in perpetual maintenance. hahahaha.
Neat looking carrier. Love the big windows overlooking the flight deck with the huge wiper blades. Love watching the tugs work too
Yeah it's a pretty unique design! Happy to have provided you the video.
Wonderful moment at the beginning, when she appears from behind the building. Thanks for posting.
I like getting that angle of the carriers emerging over buildings and dwarfing the skyline. Thank you Barb!
A MAGNIFICENT SITE.
What a beautiful majestic warship. Wishing it the very best
beautiful video. She's truly beautiful ship and worthy of her namesake.

It's a totally new design and class so there is always some breaking in. In the long run it will prove itself of course.

6 years after delivery the USS Gerald R Ford was still not battle ready.
@@gjmob Nor can it carry F-35s... and it well never do so.
Wheres HMS Boaty McBoatface?
I'm the only one, who thought this was named in honour of QEII.
Had to do it with 1 tug down as seen on the video the rope that leads to the tug boat "Englishman" red tug at the stern broke
Yup! Made a snapping sound.
