They are very helpful and your tool has team viewer built in so they can show you exactly where stuff is while your watching how to get to it. Wonder if there is a way to use the flag feature by triggering it with done kind of devise like a button so you can keep your eyes on the road 100% of the time rather than trying to find the flag icon on a sun glaring day?
I have a question, on the MS906BT after you run a scan and then you save it and save it as a PDF what folder does it store the file in? I did a scan saved it, even emailed it but I can not find where the file is stored. Now a couple of days ago I saw a video that was talking about folders and data, but I can find it anymore. I have a maxicheck tool which should have more avaiable test features. I does commo both ways, if i can run injector test brake bleed and several other functions. The problem is the limited vehicles that can be tested like Chrysler products
If it is a maxicheck tool it won’t have the same software as the Maxisys pro and elite. I would contact autel support to confirm what it may or may not have.
So do you have the Maxi Sys Elite connected to some sort of mobile Hot Spot during the road test to be able see what is going on during the road test on your lap top with WIFI from the shop? I would like to send scan reports with text message to customer's phone # versus e mail preferably
Ive used an elm 327 bluetooth dongle with torque. Ive seen missfire data and other things without a dtc in mode 6. I was wandering why the autel would not do this. Ive had a few cars with a fish bite type miss from worn spark plugs mostly that do not flag a missfire code. Dont get me wrong. I love my Autel 906 bt. But my bafx bluetooth dongle with torque is great for mode 6. Great video thank you.

Also when using the scanner there’s a lot of the pids that use abbreviations that I don’t understand what they stand for, is there someplace on the web or that you know of that has an explanation of most or all of them?
Why doesn't it give you the option of graphing data? I borrowed an MS906TS last week to test it out and I found I couldn't graph data on any of the vehicles I tested with it. The option was grayed out like it is here.
You have two options with the autel. The first option is to click the box to the left of the pid you want to graph and then select the graph button at the bottom of the screen. If you do it this way you can only graph two pids at a time and they will display on the same graph. The second way to do it is click the arrow to the right of the pid and select the graph symbol in the window that pops up. Doing it this way will allow you to graph each pid you select independently in a smaller window.

We forgot to add that the team viewer app should already be installed on your 908 from the factory. Autel installs this to use for support when a customer has a problem. They will remote in and take control of the tool to solve your problems or show you how to use a function.
I just bought a new MS908 Elite while still trying to sell off my near perfect MS908 Pro that has updates till late February to offset some of the cost of the Elite . I thought I read you could hold off registering units and use for months with the software it comes with then register the unit and begin the 2 year update period months later but it just allows you use the diagnostic software up to 10 times without connecting it to the internet and registering it. I tried deleting vehicle history after each car scan but that doesn't fool it . It's counting down. I have a half dozen more scans before I have to register the unit . I haven't set time or date Anyone called it's bluff and tried more than 10 scans without connecting it to internet? I'm hoping the Graph Merge option on the Elite is better and allows you to merge graphs of all four wheels or all four O2 sensors instead of just 3 , Lol
I know, 3 years. Still alive? Did you get your two year updates with no problem? And how did the registration delay work out? I was thinking the same since I don't have any newer vehicles. I'm looking at the Elite II. But bothers me it's with Android 7. Still, those updates are valuable.

Against my betetr judgement I just bought one of the Autel Elite scan tools. I am already having issues where I cannot get the data to display in SAE instead of metric. You have any ideas about this?
only ford sets a code for that. p 1000 OBD checks incomplete. But as stated you can check the readiness monitors and if they arent all set then the codes have been cleared and emissions data erased in the process. EGR takes the longest to reset, multiple drive cycles, so you can use this as an indicator whether or not its just been reset.
To change the pids from metric to standard click the settings button at the top of the screen, it looks like a gear. Then on the next page on the left will display changeable settings. Select unit, it should be the first one and then select metric or English.

Maxi check is just a obd2 scanner very basic the maxi sys elite and 908pro are the ones you want they do most of what’s needed for today’s car

I connect to my hot spot on my cell phone while driving.

Did you try the Autel 4 ch scope with it?

If you can get teamviewer on the tool, it should work.

Trained by Techs yeah already on the scan tool. Have now downloaded the pc version so can connect to the scan tool.

Joe's Auto Electric I’ve never had such issues. Should be able to tap the gear icon at the top of the screen and change units from metric to standard.

Tap settings & change the units of measurement. By default the tool is set to metric but it's super easy to change.
