Lovely Koi, canny choices buddy. Look forward to seeing the rest bowled up, especially the Tateshita from Manor Koi, cos I bought one too. Have a great week.👍
Great results, must be pleased. Light in colour while they are tosai and nisai is exactly what you want. As all koi darken as they get older and rule of thumb is buy them light and as light as possible is best. The kin ki Utsuri are known for the Sumi falling off in a matter of minutes. They are very easily stressed and the Sumi falls off as such. Not so sure if it will rise like with Shiro Utsuri,as my own has always had strong Sumi and has only slightly faded with age.Give them time and they will surprise you. Nice update👍
Yeah they definitely do. It's strange isn't it sometimes ignoring some of the better colours when they are small feels counter intuitive. All I've had in the past when you pick strong beni in tosai disappears or fades badly. The Ki utsuri are new to me haven't watched them develop before so shall see how it ends up. On the hunt for a decent Gin Rin Hi Utsuri now. Cheers 😊
@@OrchardKoi trick with Kohaku is to look in the middle of the scale to see if is strong. Good indicator for later, but like all things koi, not guaranteed. Shinoda again if you want anything hi Utsuri, even gin rin🤞hope you find a baby monster.
