That torque multiplier was a life saver. I have 2 of them now; one in the International and one in my other truck's toolbox. This is the one I got from Amazon: amzn.to/3KxVrI5

i'm looking to do this on mine too.
    99 crewcab dt466e/allison 545, same bed length.
if anyone else is out there like me and they have the 19.5" wheels swap them out asap.
they're hard to find on the used market (at least near me) if you ever need a spare.
22.5 and 24.5 are everywhere though if you've got those and haven't gotten around to the swap yet.
so where did your rpms end up at 60/65 mph?
did your mileage improve and if it did what do you estimate the savings were?

Nice, you have a dt466e. If this 444 dies I am going to put one of those in it. I have not gotten to drive it much but the RPMs dropped nicely with the new tires. I could not even hit 70mph before them. Now I can probably hit 80 if I tired. The tires though are 55 mph max speed rated, so I keep it around that. The ride is better but still not great. Actually it still turns great and the gas milage has went up. Now towing it may drop a lot. Have to see.

I have not pulled anything with it since then, but I am expecting for the pulling mileage to go down. Highway mileage has went up. I am getting about 10 - 15% more gas mileage out of it so far. Of course the gearing on it was pretty low so this is helping that.
