This is the first I have learned of what happened to Adam, now over a year later. How sad. I met him briefly in 2001 when I bought drinks for Ivy in Seattle in 2001. I was known to the band because I had been the entire Nebraska contingent of their online fanclub back in the mid-90s and had come up with the word Tendrils to describe members of the fanclub. So they invited me to sit with them between sets. Really nice people, all of them. What a tragedy to contract covid so early in the pandemic when hospitals were so poor at treating it and just intubated people. It sounds like 10 days on a ventilator were more than Adam could take. His music and kindly spirit live on.
I love where they went with this album. I had no idea they had put something new out. I never tire of their music. It's so tranquil and still, says so much!
@kkk555hhh her voice is part of the reason why we all LOVE Ivy. This is a great song and a nice homage video to 1980s clips. Not everyone is going to get it, but for those of us that do, this is a treat. GREAT song.
"Fascinated" -- one of the numerous stunning songs by a unique, terrific ensemble! As a Montclair NJ resident, I wish I could have met Adam when he resided in the town ...
This is one my favorite songs. I then learned that I like almost every song on "All Hours", which released Fascinated. But I am confused. Normally I fall in line. Take any group, and the most popular songs are the ones I like. Lame maybe but that's not the point. How is it that not a SINGLE SONG from my frequent stream ALL HOURS makes the top 25 most popular tracks? Worse, I don't a single song in the top 10 tracks. Is anyone else in my glitch?
It's 9 years after your original comment, and I haven't even looked at what the prices reached after I bought it, when it originally dropped. All I know is I still have my copy, and just played it today in February 2022, along with my copy of "Guest Room", whilst out running errands.
aren't half the indie music videos of the past five years 'a homage to 1980s clips'? at what point is the concept tired? the video effects they're using just look ugly and don't actually look like any 80s clip i've ever seen.

Rest in peace, Adam Schlesinger. Way too soon.

This is one of those songs that if it was not a hit SHOULD be a hit....so catchy....
Fresh, infectious and just an awesome vibe, this is what music should be - transcendent.
Ivy always takes me a special place, much love for this band
Music like this has healed so much in me, how I wish it had the power to heal Adam. Please get well soon!
I love this band... I've always loved "In The Clear" and "Long Distance"...
The two best Indie Pop albums Ever.

I love this group - check out their cover of Kite too - it’s sublime
You Tube viewers - buy this CD. It is quite good. Both dreamy and edgy.
