All Ivy's albums are amazing, totally one of the most underrated bands in history. Rest in peace Adam. I'd always hoped to see Ivy live with all the original members in person.
SAW them once in a TINY CLUB in Charleston SC and they sounded AWESOME and I've always loved them since I got their CD APARTMENT LIFE back in the early 90's!!!
R.i.p. Adam, such a great musician, composer, always kind and friendly and so talented. Got to see Ivy at least 3 times in concert in Boston and they were always refreshing and great performers (these online videos really don’t do justice to how good they sounded Live) PLUS always always all of them were super nice to us, fans.... I am so sad to hear of his passing from Covid19, I actually cried...
R.I.P Adam!! 😢 I never got to see Ivy live! 😢 such a talented musician!! I send his family and music band members of Ivy and Fountains of Wayne much love and condolences to this tragic loss! 😢 but the music will live on forever! 🎼 ❤️
Those Adam bass lines were the best. Big influence on me and many others. Man I'm gonna miss him but we have all this amazing music he created. SHINE ON ADAM!
“Thinking about” Adam ... currently in a medically induced coma, fighting COVID-19. Please be well, Adam. Some of the greatest indie rock from the turn of the millennium, full-stop.
They sound so good live, wish I had heard about these guys when they were still active (only discovered them in 2016). They have become one of my favourite bands. RIP Adam Schlesinger, what an incredible musician and producer and he sounded like a top bloke by all accounts. :(
love this song. not the best musicians or singer. but their limitations are actually their strenghts. it makes their sound more human and intimate.they are actually very good producers. the singer does not have great pipes or range but shes very clever at phrasing those dream pop vocals. she has the touch makes it personal, sweet and slick. shes one of a kind. the guys are also really good at what they do. an excellent band
I had this song as a ringtone on my cellphone for two years since today when I listened to the radio playing my ringtone!!! and realized which this song was. I downloaded it and cannot stop listening...
Fantastic, nice performance vid, (but i do like the caterpillars in the proper vid) there sound is getting better all the time, Excellent Adult alternative lounge music.. not sure were the 'pop' tag comes in i guess us in Europe are more used to real music then Ivy's own US.
In an interview Noel described Epiphone as "a poor man's guitar" and he hasn't used an Epi since his Be Here Now days. Gem is the ONLY one who uses them.
No, it's DRM protected. But the clip we have here is from the same live session and is also protected. Someone obviously got around it somehow. That's what I'm trying to figure out.
So how was this stream able to be captured off of Rolling Stone's website? It's streamed with Real Player and I have no idea how to capture it. There's a song or two I'd love to capture from these sessions.
Dude, I don't think he has a shit ton of Epi LPs. In fact, I don't think he has ANY Epi LPs. Noel is not the type to keep shitty Epi LP models when he has Gibsons. Maybe at his private home arsenal he might have Epis but only the good kinds (like the Japanese Casino Reiss and a Sheraton or 2 that are MIJ). I've been following Oasis and Noel forever. The last Epi he used was a Japanese Sheraton w/Union Jack front during BHN. It looks a bit different compared to the China ones you buy locally now.
I think they sound great live -- I've caught three or four of their shows -- but I agree with you in that Dominique needs to amp it up a bit stage presence wise. Also -- you're a bit late. Dominique is already married to Andy "Brookville" Chase, the band's lead guitarist in the carmel brown leather jacket. I think they're married at least. I know they have a kid together . . .

The drummer ! :) so into it ! How this band weren't huge is a mystery..
RIP Adam Schlesinger
Been on a big Ivy kick lately. This song and "One More Last Kiss" especially. Dominique is amazing....such an underrated band from the late 90's.
R.I.P Adam!! 😢 I never got to see Ivy live! 😢 such a talented musician!! I send his family and music band members of Ivy and Fountains of Wayne much love and condolences to this tragic loss! 😢 but the music will live on forever! 🎼 ❤️
Now *THAT* is what I call underrated! If there was any kind of justice in the world, Ivy would be huge.
They are huge. The problem is the masses are brainwashed and can't see it. A mountain doesn't stop being a mountain because nobody sees it.
Those Adam bass lines were the best. Big influence on me and many others. Man I'm gonna miss him but we have all this amazing music he created. SHINE ON ADAM!
The album Apartment Life is so transporting. Sounds like 60s French pop.
Gorgeous 🥰 track !! Ivy is by far The best Indie Pop Band Ever!!
Thank you Dominique,Andy,Adam.
Rest in Peace Adam , love you man.

Where is this material located? I remember it was a libe EP with 5 o 6 songs.
Like the song. Love her
She makes all this look so easy. She doesn't even break a sweat. I'm so jealous.....
She's not really giving a high energy performance..
beautiful
Que tema mas bonito acabo de conocer
Man, i love them!
Its got to be my new fave song!!!!1
WOW. Their guitarist and songwriter Andy Chase is using an Epiphone...
OK, this bugs me because this is not the song is listed as thinking of you by Ivy. What’s the big mystery here?
Adam ❤️❤️❤️ RIP
Hope she finds the strength to create again.
it's always the lead guitarist who gets the singers (see Harriot wheeler of The Sundays, Pat Benetar, Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star etc etc etc)
R I P Adam Schlesinger on right on guitar succumbed to COVID 19 4-01-20
Bass guitar
recien conozco esta banda y me enamoro

Rest in peace adam 😭😭😭
I love Dominique Durand, just look at that for a woman.
Shades of Laetitia Sadier!
❤️❤️❤️❤️Adam❤️❤️❤️❤️
kind of remind me of early R.E.M

So this is IVY, the band that I think is totally leading the twee-pop genre
yeah this is just " so-so" and I have heard them do better... Just kidding. This is great!

fever pitch
@rtenewsontwo nah. just because she's a singer in a band
anyone got the tab for this song
Wow they sound exactly like the record, well a little slow I guess.

3 kids now
The lead guitar would be the other guy with the black guitar playing the lead. Please be clear.
bwahahaha
Which one is the husband?
Red guitar guy
@Jonnyvpa
They all need to move a little more. Their stuff is nice to listen to, but they are not great performers.
Even a bit disappointing live.. Like you said: to listen to.
Ivy Rocks but this is one of there worst songs!
