I was almost scammed by a look-alike jewelry seller, but they were too pushy and seemed weird and so didn't actually get scammed. But it's a big risk.

I once got scammed like this. My first check when I get a DM from someone I follow is that I follow the EXACT account that messaged me. If not, check the username carefully.
