The atom Ford is such a me bag. I don’t regret selling bc it was too small for me for sure. We got the size I want in at my old job and I kinda regret not buying it!!!
I intentionally try to look for YT channels with an independent voice. I wish I knew were selling your Isabella! Your review influenced me, and so I would love to have bought that! And IMHO Sac du Jour is one of the most timeless classic top handles ever created.

It can be very hard to put this much effort and time into videos and not get a ton of views =\ BUT- the Isabelle was such a great bag and I absolutely do recommend it still. When I go back to repurchase a Goyard I may actually still consider buying it again. That or the Artois as mentioned. I just don't know how comfortable I feel paying over retail this time around

I like the Gucci bag, I haven't seen that style yet. I owned sac de jour before. I got myself a small size, which in reality it is a medium sized bag, but found it really heavy to carry my stuff. I sold that one and bought myself a baby size. Great size, the problem that started to become important was security. the bag is an open tote, and even if it had that zipped compartment, I haven't used it much. I live in London and use public transport, and I want to be able to keep my things secure. So I have sold the baby size as well. In the end I still needed a black "tote" bag in a small size and found the Mulberry zipped bayswater in size mini. It costs half the price of a SDJ, but it has everything I was looking for in a black tote. One of my most used bags and many times I have to consciously tell myself to not use it, because I have used it too much and I want to use all the bags in my wardrobe!
I just have one bag on my wishlist for this year I already ordered it but it came damaged so I’m waiting to go to the store to repurchase. And it’s the Givenchy Antigona mini with ghw because I don’t care for the trends at all.

I’ve said this a lot, but I don’t want wear the clothes I wore in middle school at 30+! There doesn’t appear to be any end in sight and it’s made me come to a place where I don’t actively participate in fashion anymore.

Trends now days are tacky. They aren’t practical for real life and designed so you have to continue shopping more. Like imagine going throughout your day wearing a micro mini skirt. Nah.

I think this is how I finally realized I'm getting older...they're not resonating and/or I've done them already. ....PS I am fully not ready for late aughts to come back. The quiet luxury versus loud or logo mania has never bothered me. Again I buy what I like and wear both high luxury brand names and contemporary brands with no logos. What I can tell you for certain is that what’s in style now will reemerge in 15 - 20 years. Flared leg jeans and pants are on trend again from the 70’s & 80’s. Wear what you like and love.
I don’t care for trendy bags esp the high end pieces. I like to see the wear and tear of the bags so I wait about 2 yrs or so. It’s different with the contemporary bags. Those, I can go with the trends. But still has to align with my lifestyle. Like the denim trend. I love it and have a vintage LV baggy pm. Was thrilled when LV released denim again.
