- HERE ARE MY OWN ITEMS SOLD ON TRR …for pennies compared to what I paid for them, but I was expecting that going in.
- Missoni Striped Sheer top -sold for $73…I got $15 bit.ly/3UcnMf6 I
- Louis Vuitton Monogram tshirt - Sold for $345, $210 on my end bit.ly/3tUX53R

tbh I don’t have the mental bandwidth to sell these items myself (especially clothing) ++ I bought a lot of these pieces at great deals and I think it would be hypocritical to chase a different price set now that it’s my turn? Controversial- I know!
Loving the hair 😻
thanks so much!
You always give such thoughtful advice. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching
Very informative. Thanks for this info. BTW your so pretty.
Thanks so much! I'm struggling with other topics to cover for future videos. Is there anything else you'd like to see, or are curious about?
Hey Katherine, I noticed you were asking for video ideas and I was wondering if you could make a video regarding buying from private sellers outside of places like ebay etc which in themselves offer buyer protection e.g. red flags to look out for, pros/ cons of going down this route, and general tips/ tricks for protecting ourselves. Also, I love your hair! Xx
Imagine my surprise when I tried to sell a brand new, tags still on, never worn YSL bag to Fashionphile and they said nope. Devastated. They said, "Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept this item because our selection requirements were not met." Aside from the literal interpretation, I'm not really sure what that means.
Bags can be rejected for any number of reasons. Not to speculate but they could have too many of a certain item, be too full of stock, or not had ideal selling experience with that particular item. But it could be any other number of reasons as well try resubmitting it in a few weeks or months.
Also that denial reason seems intentionally vague it might just be a canned response, and not relate directly to your item or situation.
Thank you for the commentary Katherine. I wish the video was longer. Perhaps we can get a Part II. 😉
Thanks for this feedback, what more would you like to know about selling with resellers?
Your hair looks gorgeous ❤😊!
Thank you so much !!
@@KWSHOPS your welcome
Enjoyed the topic 😊
Thanks so much!
I have had some good experiences with 2nd Street USA. They give you cash on the day you drop off your items. They will quote for the item and you can decide to keep any item you don’t want to sell for the price they are offering. It’s quick and easy and sometimes it’s worth getting a little less for less hassle. I have also gotten some great quotes from them where I recouped what I paid or close to it or other times they gave me more than I paid. It’s just a little hit or miss but worth it when it’s such a quick and easy turn around if you live near one of their stores.
I've never heard of this store before! but I looked at their site and they have a great selection, prices are great too! Thanks so much for sharing
Great video. I do have to say there is a HUGE level of difference between ThedUp and TRR. The former sells stiff from old navy, etc. It all looks like it’s been wadded up in a garbage sack and it’s sold at garage sale prices. There are a few Tory Burch items but they are always very old styles in very bad shape.
I quit buying bags at TTR bc they have a final sale policy. I’ve had 2 expensive bad experiences.
I’ve noticed that for the most part X item sells at X price with them. Like a LV Capucines bag sells for the same price across the board for them. They do vary based on condition, but all things being equal, they usually fall into the same price.
tbh I don't really feel the difference between the two. I got $1.06 for an Abercrombie top at ThredUp and I got $2 for Veronica Beard and ALC over on the TRR.
To me it's the same thing, and has further reinforced the idea that clothing just has no value. and further - that it isn't a priority for me.
PS I've probably had +100 orders with TRR and only 4 of them (maybe) have been for handbags
Whoa!!!! I’ve never scored anything like that kind of deal at TRR. I don’t look as often as you do either. And I haven’t ordered anywhere near that many times.
I got an awesome wool and real leather trim cardigan jacket by Rag and Bone, a Tory Burch leather skirt, etc, from TRR. SND FROM ThredUp I’ve gotten a couple of J. Crew sweaters and a J. Crew linen shirt. I guess my point is TRR has much nicer brands. But that’s been my experience.
I shop on Poshmark like it’s my job, an I rarely shop the other two, so my experience is admittedly limited.
Have a brand new Prada and Celine bag--seems like I should go to fashion file to sell. They estimate price?
Yes they send a quote and you can agree to it before you send your bag in
8:45 The only thing I don’t like about TheRealReal is that they don’t have a lot of pictures.
I know ! of course there's always the option to ask for more photos and info but it def can be annoying after a while!
You’re so beautiful 😊
