Seriously in love with this series... I'm really hoping it's one of those things that, much like saved by the bell, gets it's love later in it's career, but lord... I love this stuff.
Good for Mark man, he's one of the few that stayed grounded. He didn't act like a child star, he acted like an actor. He didn't become a train wreck, he didn't release some sceazy sex tape. He acted like a professional. And I will fight to the death anyone who says Dead Man on Campus isn't a funny fucken movie.
I saw him on Happy Endings, and Apartment 23 and was all "zack!". With 2 seasons DVDs of Franklin & Bash on my shelf, being all "this dude's awesome, why hasn't he done more work?". You're stupid too. We all are. So that's out of the way. Holy shit, that kinda speaks to how decent an actor he is. Once it clicked only a few months ago, that he was mark paul, zack etc I felt like a fucking idiot. Because he can act well enough for me not to see his face. In adjacent shows. Talent is surprise.

It just occurred to me, on this second viewing, that Mark-Paul, particularly with the mustache, sounds and acts VERY much like Kevin Kline.
There's something really special about Mark-Paul. Glad to see him do this show
